A familiar fate

"Seventh!" You snapped out of your trance and just barely dodged Error's blade as Alpha stared at you helplessly. Error grinned wickedly at you.

"You shouldn't be spacing out in a time like this." He taunted. You frowned at him and glanced around you. Alpha laid on the ground injured and the other Y/ns and Astros were still unconscious and Arvo and Break had Y/n pinned to the ground.

Your eyes widened in realisation. Had you reset time? You then smacked yourself in the forehead, making Error and Alpha give you odd looks. Why had you done that!? You knew the consequences!

"You've finally lost it, haven't you?" Error taunted as he threw his blade at you. You fell to the ground in an attempt to dodge the blade. The blade grazed your cheek ever so slightly and landed on the ground right next to Alpha. Alpha eyed the blade with a wary gaze. He then reached out for it and gripped it tightly.

You continued to dodge Error's attacks. Error gritted his teeth in annoyance when he couldn't land a single hit on you.

"Stop running away, Seventh!" Error shouted. He then heard Arvo and Break cry out in pain and his eyes widened in surprise. He then turned his head towards them to see Pandora strangling them with her chains whilst Astro helped Y/n up.

Error growled and clicked his tongue while you smiled. You then turned towards Error and frowned.

"I won't make the same mistake as last time." You stated and sheathed your sword. Alpha gave you a bewildered look as you did this while Error smirked. Starfire sat up with a groan and held her head.

"Ugh, what happened? Huh? Where's Red?" She questioned as she looked around. She then saw Anti leaning over Truce and Sapphire and furrowed her brow in confusion.

Alpha forced himself to stand and ran up to you as Error aimed his hand at you. With a wicked grin, Error's hand had begun to glow a faint dark purple. Your eyes widened the moment Alpha stood in front of you protectively.

"Alpha what are you doing!?" You cried. Alpha eyed Error with a heavy gaze and breathed in sharply through his nose.

"I'm protecting you. Don't worry, I'm fine." He claimed. You furrowed your brows worriedly at him. You then eyed his injuries. Error grinned and chuckled.

"Stop trying to act so tough." He taunted. Alpha glared at him.

"And you stop trying to act so bloody psychotic. You're worse than Tobio." He insulted. Error snarled at Alpha and a ball of black magic built up within his palm. Your hand inched towards your sword, ready to deflect the beam. That was when a tornado of black magic appeared in between the three of you. Error and Alpha sucked sharp breaths and jumped back, Alpha grabbing you in the process.

Everyone watched with wide eyes as the black tornado dispersed, revealing a girl who who wore a long black dress that was shorter at the front and got longer at the back. She had long wispy black hair that faded into shadows at the ends and reached her feet. A wicked smile slipped passed her lips as she hovered in the air with one leg crossed over the other.

As the wind brushed her pitch black hair out of her face, everyone gasped. Her red eyes gleamed as she looked at you with a sickening grin. You stared at her in complete shock. She had your face, did that mean she was a Y/n?

The darker version of Y/n straightened and smiled at you. She then landed on the ground as you and Alpha eyed her with suspicion. The moment her bare feet touched the ground, the once lively grass beneath her withered away into nothing.

Both you and Alpha sucked in sharp breaths and took a step back from her. The new Y/n smiled sweetly at you. Now that you had gotten a closer look at her, nothing about her seemed real. The ends of her clothes looked corporeal along with her hair which floated about around her.
