Robot and Classic caught themselves and straightened as they landed in the first alpha timeline. Thankfully, it was night. Classic eyed the timeline and glanced around.
"So this is the first Alpha timeline. It looks so much like my timeline." He admitted. Robot smiled.
"Yeah! It's a good thing that it's night, this will make things much easier." He stated. Classic nodded and held his arms behind his head.
"Yeah, but that also means we're limited on time. Come on, let's have a search around for the soul shard. Do you have our piece with you?" Classic confirmed as he turned towards Robot. Robot nodded and took out the soul shard from his pocket. He then noticed a feint glow on the shard and held it up in wonder.
"Woah, it's glowing!" He exclaimed. Classic eyed the shard warily and took it from him.
"Yeah, maybe it will glow brighter as we get closer to the next shard." He suggested. As if to test out his theory, Classic took a few steps forwards. The shard in his hand glowed even more faintly.
"Woah, you were right!" Robot exclaimed. Classic grinned and threw the shard up and down in his hand. He then froze as he heard the familiar sound of rockets approaching them. Robot furrowed his brow in confusion and glanced around. "Hey, do you hear somethi- mph!" Classic slapped his hand over Robot's mouth and dragged him into a bush.
Classic peaked out of the bush and his eyes widened as he saw Astro fly over them. Classic then hid back inside and sat stiff to the bush. 'Why is he here!?' Classic mentally shrieked. Robot eyed him with confusion. He then peaked out of the bush to see Astro hanging around it and froze.
Classic pulled Robot back inside before Astro could see him and bit his lip. They both dared not to speak a word considering all Astros have superb hearing. And this Astro seemed to be looking for something, so they were sure he was on high alert.
Astro paced around the empty plot of land before sighing and shaking his head. He then bent his knees and took off to the skies again.
Classic and Robot waited for about five minutes before they were sure he was gone and climbed out of the bush.
"Phew, that was a close one." Robot breathed. Classic nodded and let out a shaky breath.
"Yeah, too close. What was he even doing here?" Classic wondered. Robot shrugged. He then put his hand to his chin in thought.
"Wait a minute, I just realised something. Every soul shard we've come across so far has always been inside a Y/n, right? What if somehow a Y/n was here, and Astro was perhaps....looking for her?" Robot suggested. Classic stared at him with wide eyes. He then shook his head.
"I doubt that Astro was looking for her, there would have been a change in the other timelines." Classic stated. Robot raised an eyebrow at him.
"And how would you know that?"
"Because," Classic gave him a nervous grin, "we would have gotten an angry message from Verse otherwise." Robot lightly chuckled at this. He then took out the soul shard.
"Still wonder what he was looking for. Let's continue our search for the next soul shard. But be alert, we've now got one more thing to worry about." Robot warned. Classic nodded. The two Astros then followed the glow of the soul piece.

Starfire's eye twitched in annoyance as Sapphire and Truce bickered with each other.
"How many times do I have to tell you not to threaten the humans! We have to be very careful in this timeline!" Truce scolded. Sapphire rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest as she huffed.
