A burning white hot sensation rested on your chest as you slept with discomfort. Your limbs felt both stiff and sore and you felt absolutely exhausted. The tip of your hood rested over your eyes, thankfully blocking out the sunlight.

You struggled to lift your hand, it felt like it was weighted down. With a great amount of effort, you dragged your hand over your body and rested it atop your head. You immediately felt even more discomfort and let out a small groan. 'Ugh, what happened....? Where am I...' Your thoughts trailed off as you lulled your head to the side. From under your hood, you could make out a pair of feet standing at the door. You watched as a wooden tray crashed to the ground with the other medical supplies falling with it.

"S-s-she's awake! Everyone, she's awake!" A voice cried out. You watched with furrowed brows as the person left the room in a fluster. You then made an attempt to sit up, but a sharp pain entered your chest, making you gasp.

You had just fallen back onto the bed when the door was slammed open by a familiar face and almost everyone ran towards you.

"Red!" Everyone exclaimed and immediately crowded around your bed. You lifted your hood slightly and met your gaze with theirs. You then gave them an exhausted smile.

"Hello...everyone..." You breathed in a barely audible whisper. Pandora chuckled and sat on the chair situated by your bed.

"Woah, you sound awful. How are you feeling?" She asked. You muffled a complaint and turned your gaze upwards and let out a hefty sigh.

"Not...ngh, the greatest." You admitted. F/n hurriedly gathered the fallen medical supplies with Y/n's help and rushed them over to you.

"Here, have some of this. This should help you cope with the pain." With Pandemonium's help, you sat upright and rested your hand delicately over your chest. You breathed out and thanked her for the much needed medicine. Just as you were taking a sip of the liquid medicine, Starfire pushed passed everyone else, surprising you greatly.

"Red! You're awake!" She exclaimed. Your eyes widened and you set the half empty cup on your lap.

"Starfire...?" A wide smile then spread out across your face and relief immediately filled your entire being. "You're okay...! A-Are you alright?" You asked. Starfire tapped her fist against her chest with a confident smile while Robot wrapped a loving arm around her.

"I'm fine. I'm the one who should be asking you that. You look so banged up..." She commented and eyed your chest area with a slight hint of worry. Your eyes widened slightly and you rested your hand over your chest. A relieved smile then appeared on your face and you sighed.

"Thank god you don't hate me..." You whispered. Starfire immediately pulled a face and she raised an eyebrow at you.

"Seriously, what is up with you guys thinking I hate you?" Starfire commented as she gave everyone a look. Everyone immediately bursted into laughter as she said this, including yourself. She then crossed her arms over her chest and smiled. "Actually, I woke up not too long ago. Is Alpha, Truce and Blind not back yet?" She commented and looked around for the missing trio.

You looked up at Starfire with a shocked face while everyone shook their heads no, answering her question.

"Wait, Alpha's gone? W-where is he?" You questioned and leaned forwards to get an answer. Your wound throbbed with pain, making you jolt and hiss in pain. Princess furrowed her brows with worry and held a motherly hand to your shoulder.

"Red, you shouldn't push yourself so much. You are incredibly wounded and you need to rest." She warned. King nodded in agreement and crossed his arms over his chest.
