Alpha bit his lip as he and Astro had a stare off. Astro then narrowed his eyes dangerously at him.
"Ratom, don't let these weirdos get to Y/n." Astro told. Ratom nodded.
"Wasn't planning on it." He said. Starfire growled as Robot pulled her up and she glared at the new robot.
"I'll kill you!" She shouted and pointed her arm at Ratom. Alpha almost fell over and began to wave his arms around.
"W-wait a minute! We're not enemies, in fact we're friends! Please, let's just talk this out!" He cried. Both Astro and Ratom gave each other skeptical looks while Starfire clicked her tongue and put her weapon away.
"How do we know that we can trust you?" Astro questioned. Alpha let his hands drop to his sides and he gave Astro a serious look.
"We're you guys, but from alternate universes. I know, sounds ridiculous but please, we're telling the truth!" Alpha desperately explained. Classic nodded beside him.
"Yeah, we've come here to collect the soul shards to revive all of the Y/ns and bring every universe back to normal. Your Y/n holds one of the shards. Please you have to believe us!" Classic cried. Astro frowned and glanced back at Y/n.
Norm was watching the two robots with unease when he felt someone tug on his arm. He looked back to see Stoic looking out the glass windows with wide eyes.
"Y/n? What's wrong?"
"Outside..." She muttered. Norm furrowed his brow and turned towards the window and his eyes widened. Outside, a giant dusk encased in thick platinum armour stood outside of the ministry of science. Behind it was an entire army of dusks, ready for battle. The larye dusk leading the small army held its arm out and aimed a large canon at the window.
Norm took a shaky step back as the canon lit up with a magenta light. His mouth hung open and his eyes were wide with fear.
"U-uh, guys? Guys!" Norm shouted, gaining everyone's attention. They turned towards him and eyed him in confusion. They then followed his line of sight and saw the giant dusk as well as the army standing behind it. A bewildered look appeared on his face and he gasped.
"H-hold on, I thought the dusks were under Error's command!" He cried. Alpha furrowed his brows and nodded.
"They are! But...Error was under Optium's influence, so it wouldn't be any surprise if he had borrowed some of Optium's power. Now the dusks are under her control. But, why would they be here...?" Alpha wondered out loud. He then glanced back at Y/n and he gasped in realisation. "They're after Y/n! They want the soul shard!" Alpha cried.
"How can you be so sure?" Classic confirmed. Alpha breathed in sharply and readied his weapon.
"They don't have any other reason to be here. Starfire, Norm, I need the two of you to create a distraction. We'll get Y/n out of here." Alpha told.
"Got it!" Ratom's eyes widened in alarm as the pair made a beeline for the window. He then grabbed Alpha by the arm, stopping him momentarily.
"Hold on! What's happening? Why do you want Y/n?" Ratom cried as Astro brought Y/n into his arms and clutched her to his chest.
"Your Y/n holds one of the keys to reviving all of the universes." Alpha briefly explained. He then pushed passed him and jogged over to Astro and gave him a desperate look. "Please, trust me." Astro stared at Alpha with a fixed gaze. He then focused on Y/n's sleeping face. Why should he trust him? How does he know that he wouldn't just betray him in the end and harm Y/n?
Astro shook the thought out of his head and gave him a skeptical, yet stern look.
"Alright, I'll trust you. But if you make any moves to harm Y/n, I won't hesitate to take you down." He threatened. Despite the amount of hostility being shown towards him, Alpha smiled at him, relieved. He then nodded to both Starfire and Norm.
