Broken Disguises

The skies were dark and the cities were close to being empty. You grunted in discomfort as you sat up from the shattered glass. The cuts on your body then healed along with your clothing.

"Oww, that hurt." You groaned. You then looked around you to see that you had fallen into a rundown shop, and frowned. "I wonder where the others are." You stood to your feet and made your way over to the shattered window you had previously fallen through. You then took a quick peak outside.

Outside of the building, the skies were littered with dark storm clouds. The city seemed almost empty and a cold wind brushed through. You stepped outside of the shop and looked over the broken buildings. Most of the shops on the street were boarded up. There were a few shops that were open with very few people entering them.

"There you are!" You cried out in surprise and whipped your head around to see an Astro who was smiling at you. He then looked you up and down with a raised eyebrow. "What's with the weird outfit?" Your eyes widened and you looked over yourself. Your hood fluttered in the wind behind you, making your eyes widen in realisation. Your hood had fallen off!

"I-I, um," you struggled to pull the hood over your head and fumbled over your words. "I-I'm sorry, but I think you have the wrong person." You said as you turned your back to him. Astro frowned at you. He then took your hand into his and began dragging you behind him.

"Stop making excuses, come on. We have to head back to the ministry of science. They've found more of...them." You furrowed your brow in confusion.

"Them?" Astro nodded and glanced back at you.

"Yeah, zombies. They've found more. They're about to cure them but they're running low on the serum they need. So we just need a tiny bit more blood." Astro explained. Your eyes widened.

"Zombies!? Serum!? H-hold on just a moment! I'm not Y/n, I'm not the girl you think I am!" You cried. Astro frowned at you even more and turned towards you questioningly.

"What's the matter with you? Are you alright?" Astro inquired as he stopped in his tracks. You bit your lip. Dang it, where were the others? You looked around nervously. Astro tapped his foot impatiently on the ground as he raised an eyebrow at you. You then remembered the scar Error had left across your chest and ripped your hand out of Astro's.

"Listen, I'm not the person you think I am. I am a completely different person." You stated. You then pulled your cloak down a bit so that the tip of the scar on your collar bone could be seen. "See? The person you know doesn't have a scar like this does she?"

Astro stared at you with wide eyes. His cheeks then went ablaze and he hurriedly brought your hands up so that the cloth once again covered your skin. He looked around him with a nervous stutter.

"D-don't be so quick to show your skin!" He cried. You furrowed your brow in confusion. It was only the collar bone- "Listen, Y/n. I know that you're afraid but we need to head to the ministry of science. Now come on." He urged as he pulled you along behind him.

You gritted your teeth as you struggled to break out of his grip. You then glanced up at the roof to see Knight eyeing you. Your eyes widened slightly. Next to her was Zombie who seemed to be reminiscing the scenery around him.

Knight tapped Zombie's shoulder and pointed to you. Zombie followed her finger and his eyes widened slightly. You gave them a helpless look as Astro continued to drag you off towards the ministry of science.

Knight ran over to a drain pipe and slid down it while Zombie stayed on the roof to avoid being seen. Once on the ground, Knight ran up to you and snatched your wrist out of Astro's grip.
