Subaru was standing at the door with his back flattened against it, breathing rather fast with a shocked and panicky look on his face. "Subaru's... parents??" Emilia asked. "Should we go meet them??" She said, turning to the other girls, who were looking uncertain about what to do as well. "Well, Rem thinks we should. After all, it is Subaru-kun's parents who own this apartment--"

"No no no no no you don't understand!!" Subaru whisper-shouted, shaking his head so fast that it seemed like it would fall off his neck at any moment. "They can't know about you!! I'd be pretty much dead if they find out that I've been living with four girls under the same roof!!! They'd probably go bananas and sentence me to death at that instance!!" Subaru clutched his head and starting banging it against the wall. "Damn it damn it damn it damn it damn it I never thought they'd come back....!!" He cursed under his breath.

"Subaru-kun, please stop! You're hurting yourself!!" Rem said worriedly, pulling Subaru away from the wall. "Barusu, stop being so pessimistic. They might not react the way you expect them to. We can explain to them about everything, including how we met." Ram said rather confidently. "No that'll make it worse!! They'd think I've been feeding you crack or some other horrible things!!" Subaru continued to mutter in the panicky tone, his hands trembling slightly.

"Oi, knock it out, will you?" Beatrice said, annoyed, waving her hand at him and slapping him in the face with an invisible hand. Subaru's face immediately swelled up and he flew backwards and hit the wall again. "Goddamn it Bea-ko! I've told you!! No magic!!" Subaru shouted angrily, holding his red, swollen cheek. "To others only. To you, Betty will use all the chances she manages to find to cast the most painful spells on you, Betty supposes!!" Beatrice shouted, pointing at Subaru's nose.

"You--" Before Subaru could fire back at Beatrice, the door lock gave a small click, cutting Subaru off, and the door swung forward. "I knew someone was at the door." A man's voice came through the door. Everyone turned toward the voice and stared at the person standing at the door. They just stood there and looked at one another for fully ten seconds, and Rem and Emilia let out a small scream and covered their eyes. "D-Dad!! Why're you half naked again???" Subaru broke the silence with the question, getting in front of Rem and Emilia and trying to shield his father from their visions and extending his arms before Ram and Beatrice, trying to shield their eyes as well.

"Well, you see, your mom and I are waiting for you, and I got bored and decided to do some workout." Subaru's dad said, leaning against the doorframe. "Barusu, are you adopted or found in a trash bin? Your dad's rad." Ram said, covering her mouth as she snickered behind her hand, looking amused. "He's ripped...!!" She whispered under her breath. "Hm... but Roswaal-sama is still more ripped... Ram supposes."
"Goddamn it of course I'm not!!" Subaru muttered through gritted teeth, ignoring Ram's quiet muttering. "Anyways, I'm pretty interested in how our neet son ended up with four cute girls, so why don't you all come in and explain it all to us?" Subaru's father said kindly, grinning a grin that was almost identical to Subaru's.

"Fine fine fine let's just all get in first." Subaru muttered faintly and holding the door open for the girls. They filed in through the threshold one by one, and when Beatrice passed Subaru, she shot him another nasty look, which Subaru returned with a deep scowl. Pulling the door shut, Subaru followed the girls in and went to the living room with them. His parents were already waiting there. "Here, have some tea first." Subaru's father handed each of the girls and Subaru a cup of tea. "Rem is so sorry for the trouble! Rem should've prepared the tea for you!" Rem said hastily as she took the cup, bowing her head apologetically.
