A/N: Chapter 31 here let's gooooooooo!!!!

Meanwhile, back in Japan, Subaru gave a great shudder, his teeth chattering. "Dude, you good??" Aki, in the seat on his right, asked. "Apparently not," Hinata, on Subaru's left, answered, snickering. "Shut it, you two." Subaru muttered, holding his arms tight around himself, rubbing his palms against his shoulders. "For some reason, I felt a terrible chill down my spine..." He said. "Well, it's five minutes to the exam, so no big deal." Hinata said, patting Subaru on the back. "Ah ah, I'm just so fed up with this shit. I want it over so bad." Aki said in a tired voice. "Mood." Subaru and Hinata replied, the former heaving a sigh and the latter chuckling.

Soon, Kishitsuji sensei, who would be proctoring them, entered the classroom. Everyone immediately tensed up as he put down the exam papers on the front desk. Haruka, sitting in the second row, turned around and gave them a thumbs-up, and the three returned it with a peace sign. "You know the stuff." Kishitsuji sensei said as the bell rang. The exam papers were passed down to the students, and the finals began.

Exams, a form of torture to a student's brain cells that was now proven by researchers that cannot efficiently and effectively reflect a student's grasp of knowledge and brilliance, have a long, long, long history that could be dated back to 165 B.C. More widely known, the modern form of exams was created by Professor Henry A. Fischel in the late 19th century, however, if one really dug into the history of exams, one would find that exams, as mentioned above, were first invented in 165 B.C., by Emperor Wen of Han of the Han Dynasty in ancient China. As time went on, the forms and methods of examinations evolved, and finally became what they were nowadays. And there you go, your daily dose of random knowledge that might come in handy one day in the future when time machines are invented and you can finally go back in time and wipe out those creators of things that persecute us, unless the world operates on the multiverse theory, of course.

In the meantime, while the person typing was feeding you random and useless information, Subaru and the girls and their friends were fighting against the biggest obstacles in their way to relaxation and relief. The fights were brutal and difficult, but strong-willed and well prepared, they managed to pull themselves through the path of thorns and triumph in the end. Two days later, the finals were over, and what welcomed them were the highly anticipated club final presentations and about two weeks' worth of vacations.

"Time is up. Please pass the exam papers forward." Kishitsuji sensei called as the bell rang, indicating the end of the last exam. Everyone sighed in relief and slumped themselves on their desk, groaning tiredly, however, once everyone finished sticking their tongues out like an old dog, the excitement returned to the air, as this afternoon, they got to see the presentations, performances, and results of the many clubs' final projects.

"Whuuuuuuuuuuuuuha...." Subaru grunted as he stretched out his arms in the air, relaxing his tired muscles. "We did it, guys!! It's over!!" Hinata shouted happily as he swiped everything on his desk into his bag. He swung it over his shoulder and sprinted off. "Meet you at our club's classroom!!!" He shouted as he disappeared through the door. "Welp, we're off as well!" Aki said also quite excitedly, gathering his stuff. "What's your club gonna do??" Subaru asked as Haruka came to them, ready to leave as well. Aki cracked his finger joints and smirked. "Sports clubs have matches among club members for their final performances." He said simply, and Subaru let out an "Ahhh" of comprehension.

"Aight, you two have fun, just don't kill each other." Subaru said, and the three parted, walking toward different directions. "Oh, and don't forget!! Meet up at my place after we're all done!!" Subaru turned around and called over the crowd of students that flooded out the classroom. The two waved back at him, indicating they heard. Subaru chuckled and hurried to the Anime Study Club's classroom. Originally, their project, proposed by a very hyped Hinata, was to make an animation for around three minutes, however, due to their lack of time and anime-making experiences, after several heated discussion among the club members, they settled on the compromise of making the animation about one and a half minutes long. The story of the animation was still the same, a demon girl and an elf girl fighting the deadly monster, the White Whale. It might seem that one and a half minutes wasn't a long duration of time from an outsider's perspective, however, this one and a half minutes contained all the passion and efforts from the club members.
