Sooooo I decided to write a cancer story. I wrote the first chapter. Here's the description.
Rachel has had cancer since she was 8 years old (she's now 14.) She can never do anything with her friends, and is almost always stuck in a gray hospital room. Rachel soon starts to think that there's nothing to live for. And maybe she's right. How can you live in a world where all you do is sit in a bed, staring at the gray walls while dangerous chemicals are seeping into your blood? Rachel's whole world changes, though, when she meets a 12 year old girl named Talia, who also has cancer. Find out how they go through a long journey together. (Not the best description, I inow)
NOTE: this was inspired by Talia Joy Castellano, a 13 year old girl who lost her battle with cancer. You can look it up on YouTube. I don't know a lot about cancer, so I might get some stuff wrong while writing this story.
