We must have sat there for ten minutes while I searched my own head for a way to activate my fortune telling powers, but nothing came up.
"This is pointless you know." I said, still refusing to open my eyes. I could feel the sad look that Akeno was giving me, and the glare I was receiving from the nicest vampire in the world.
"If I have to bring in a mind meld specialist you're going to regret it." Minerva said.
I rolled my eyes as I opened them. "What are you gonna get me? Another vampire? A Shade?"
"Don't get moody with me." Minerva glared.
"Moody? I'm not moody, just a bit, upset that I'm unable to do what I need to in order to control the shit on my skin." I growled as I held my arms out in front of me for her to look.
Minerva's glare bore into my eyes before she turned her head and glared at the wall, her expression changed like she was listening to something before she smirked and looked back at me.
"What was that about?"
"I just made a call." Minerva answered.
"To who? Your other demon friends?" I rolled my eyes.
"You have friends Minerva?" Came another voice.
Akeno and I fell off the bed as we jumped back from the person who had just appeared behind us. Luckily, Akeno landed on me so she was unharmed.
She picked herself up, then helped me up and we turned to look at our guest.
She was blonde. A dirty blonde. Her eyes a florescent silver with a tinge of psycho if that makes sense. Her arms were crossed over her chest, but she was wearing jeans, military boots, and a tank top.
"And who's this?" Akeno asked.
"Aviri Nightshade, at your service." The girl took a bow.
Then a pink... dinosaur, dog, lizard, snake mix stepped out of thin air. It had pink fur covering its body but the legs of a dog with three toed feet, two in front, one behind. A long slender snake's tail that ended in a crystal point. The torso and head of a woman with pink hair. From the elbow down, was covered in crystals and small spikes. It's hands, although they had five fingers, were more like claws. Its eyes were solid pink, so I couldn't tell what it was looking at.
It was wearing black short shorts and a black tank top. "Aviri, they still need your help." The demon said.
Aviri waved over her shoulder. "Pfft. They can deal with it on their own."
"What do they need help with?" I asked.
"Its a werewolf or something. The hunters just keep bitching for our help when they always kill everything themselves." Aviri explained.
"I see." Akeno looked at me for clarification but I just shrugged.
"So these two need help connecting to each other's thoughts." Minerva said as she motioned towards me and Akeno.
Aviri grabbed me and Akeno by the arm and pulled us both back onto the bed like we weighed nothing. "Sit back like you were before." She ordered.
We did as we were told nervously.
"This one, Mikky, is a Seer." Minerva said. "But only because she stole the Seer's eye."
"Ah. I see. No natural melding abilities then." Aviri smirked. "Nice job with the stealing though. Stealing from a Seer is hard, they always see you coming."
"Nightshade." The pink demon warned.
"Seer's aren't human!" Aviri growled.
"Nightshades don't kill humans." Minerva explained.
