I was riding on Akeno's back, whom decided to scare the shit out of everyone in Augerheim. She thought that it would be a good idea for the people living there to see a Fox God run through and up to their Queen.

In truth she probably just wanted attention.

But our goal was to tell Minerva that Edon had showed up at our home.

Either way, she was a seven foot tall flaming fox charging into the city making everyone scream as they saw her. Actually she was probably around eight feet tall now. I wasn't sure how but I could just tell she was getting stronger, like she was adapting to her new home the longer she spent with me.

But she still had seven tails.

For the moment.

Elysium must have decided that it would be okay for people to see her in her God form, otherwise I can't imagine her still being a God. Everyone now knows there's a Fox God running around with the Master Thief because I was still on her back.

Though I don't know if anyone was paying attention to me, I pulled my hood up anyway. I honestly felt pretty embarrassed.

The guards at the front gate didn't even try to stop us. Instead they dove out of the way as Akeno bashed her head into the gate, throwing it opened. She charged into the castle, leaving small burn marks wherever her feet touched the floor or carpet.

Minerva was talking to a messenger and even she yelped in surprise when Akeno came skidding to a halt after running full tilt for a half hour. She literally cut travel time in half. She out ran Star.

Poor horse.

"What in God's name are you doing Akeno!?" Minerva shouted.

Akeno stomped her foot in frustration and I slid off her back and bowed respectively to Minerva. "Sorry. She's a little upset with the fact Edon decided to show up at our house." I explained. "I think she's jealous."

Akeno wacked me with one of her tails before growling down at me.

"Did you alert the entire village?" Minerva asked as she motioned for the messanger to leave, and the guards to leave and hold the doors closed until she was ready. The guards exited the room and pulled the doors shut.

Akeno however, didn't seem to care about our privacy and instead sat down on the floor, her tails curling up on both her sides as she listened to the conversation we were having.

"Yes. Somehow she thought it was a good idea." I rolled my eyes. "Elysium must really like her."

"Well so do you." Minerva answered. "Perhaps Akeno is one of the few Gods who are meant to be known to the rest of the world."

"There are Gods like that?" Akeno asked.

"Several." Minerva answered. "The Original Dragon Lords were some of them."

"The Dragon Lords visited Krate." Akeno answered.

"Not those Dragon Lords. The ones before them. Before they started calling themselves Lords in their memory. They were actually Gods given the forms of either Dragons or Humans but they possessed both their powers, and unnatural and incomparable ones of their own. Most of them were defenders of the world, but others wanted to destroy it. In order to protect the world from them, they were all sealed away, so that our world wouldn't become their battle ground." Minerva said.

"You're named after the Lord of Knowledge who's element is water." I noted.

"Yes." Minerva smiled. "Minerva was the wisest, and probably most powerful of all of them. The Lords spent a lot of time in the human world too, and that's one of the reasons why their Gods and Goddesses are named after ours."
