》Renée du Bois, an artist in her own crazy way. The annual Berlin-Festival invites her to perform, which is a big honor for a small musician like her. Of course, as luck would have it, she meets new friends, who she already knew before. Marti and Steven. But what happens if fate decides to make her life take a turn? If she makes everyone she meets laugh with her crazyness and uniqueness? If she starts to live her life differently? Live, love, laugh!

I don't how, but someday this idea came to my mind.《

1. - The Berlin-Festival

"Next up on the stage are Fewjar and
Frodoapparat. Technically, Frodoapparat isn't really traveling  around for music, but when it's about the following song, he's often seen with this duo. Big welcome to Jakob, Felix and Frodo!" The comedian Mario Barth who was moderating the event introduced the band and they immediately walked upon the stage. Everybody in the backstage area was bustling around. I was the only one who sat still on the floor and looked at a monitor that was showing the happenings from the stage. "Hi!", Fewjar started at the same time. "We prepared your favourite song for today. Thank you for having us", Jako continued. Frodo took the last word from them: "Polemonium!" The crowd showed different reactions. The fans, who loved Polemonium and already grabbed their phones. And of course there were the people that had no clue who these three young men on the stage were. Then Jakob started playing. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the tender sound of his guitar. God, I love this.

May I be a thought
Risen from my imagination
As the mean against myself as a definition
Even so knowing that I am I and ever will be me
Breathing the air my ancestors breathed

The audience was ready to die out of pure happiness. I hugged my electric guitar, swayed from left to right and sang along with the three boys. Apart from me being the only one who knew the lyrics to their song by heart and took the time to appreciate their music, there were only workers hustling around me.

"Thanks!", the musicians shouted joyfully to the crowd and left the stage. Instead of going backstage again, they descended the stairs to the front row and sat down at their reserved places.
I held onto my baby and stood up to get ready. Guitar? Check. Microphone is out there? Check. Am I in a good mood? Oh yeah!
"Miss du Bois, you're up next", a stageguy wearing a headset reminded me. With a few quick steps I made my way to the curtain and then shouldered my blue and black shimmering guitar. I watched Mario while he was waddling across the stage, clapping his hands for the trio. Quietly, I chuckled. "Cool, huh? Yep. The cool kidz from today are making music themselves. Just like our next act. She's only 23 years young but already a workhorse. And she's already got a crazy look. Average job over the day, karaoke bar over night and a YouTube video here and there. Today she wants to rock you out of your seats. Let's make some noise for Renée du Bois!"
When I was little, I would have had to hold my breath to step in front of an audience like that. But by the time the stage has grown into my home. Barth passed the mic to me and I introduced myself: "Hey, I'm Ren. I write and cover songs, that I like. And right now, I'd like to fly away. Some of you already know the following song, so sing and clap along and have fun!" I put the leather belt of my instrument around my neck, closed my eyes and then began to play.

I wish that I could fly
Into the sky
So very high
Just like a dragonfly

I'd fly above the trees
Over the seas in all degrees
To anywhere I please

While my gaze wandered around the mass, I spotted Marti Fisher and Steven Schuto, who sat all the way on the right side. They had performed today, too. The Space Frogs' Steven and the Clavinover had played the Piña Colada Song together. I was glad to see that they liked my show. When I reached the song's hook the last grouches stood up and clapped along, while the rest danced, jumped and bawled out with me.
