On the way home, you couldn't help but grinning the entire time. You still remember before you left Key's home, he take you to his room.

Your eyes widened seeing his desk which filled with loads of foundation. By then, realization struck you.

But you kept quiet. Without asking him, he himself told you of his true self. He even asked you if you still wanna be his friend.

You gladly said yes, making him squealing and jumping in excitement as you found yourself jumping with him.

'Can today get any better?'

You whispered. Upon reaching your doorstep, you're about to turn the doorknob when you realise the door was already open.

Your heartbeat rises frantically. It can't be your parents as they due to this weekend. Pushing the door with trembling hands, you're trying to gather all the courage and step inside.

"I did lock the door before went to Key's" you wondered.

Your phone buzzing, alerting you and  whoever they are who's breaking inside your house. You quickly answering it without seeing the caller ID.

"Hey honey"

"Hey mom" you whispered. You can't risk yourself by letting them know your presence.

"Why're you whispering? Anyways, we're just gonna inform you that we will be home next weekend"

Your lips are parted to reply, but instead, you just kept quiet as you still aware of the danger.

"Is that okay with you? Want something before we come back?"

You wonder off a bit, before saying,

"Books"

"Okay then. I'll call you later when I have the time. Take care sweetie"

"You too mom"

Then, the call ended. Your eyes  wander around every corner of the house, tip-toeing so lightly even you yourself could barely hear it.

Suddenly, you heard footsteps from your bedroom.

'This must be male..or fat guy' you thought to yourself, because the way he walk which make the sounds thud.

Without having a second thought, you barged in your room, finding no one.

Your brows knitted in confusion.

What the heck?

You know you heard someone from your room, probably jumped from the window. But the window was already locked since last night. So, if he jumped, how did he locked?

You're about to go downstairs, when something caught your eye.

Bending down, you carefully picking up white feathers. Again, leaving you in loss of words.

'Maybe a bird flew in here'

You tried to calm your nerves, trying not to overthinking.
