Chap. 29

"Where's Minho?"

His eyes were like a fire to the soul as you staring him. If looks could kill, it didn't take much time for you to fall down the moment they step inside.

"Where IS Minho?" He asked again. The man behind him walk to where a frame was hanging. In it was the little you and your parents who was smiling while you were doing the silly faces. You caught him smiling but quickly remembered the man in front of you.

And you remembered Key who must be dumbfounded about what's happening around him.

"M-Minho? Who's Minho?" You asked him carefully.

In the bottom of your heart, you truly wants Key to know who's Minho, but the part of you wants it absolute secrecy.

"Don't lie to me, young lady" he a said and take a step forward to you.

You glance to Key who's standing beside you. An idea just popped up. Behind you, there was a tray on the counter and you quietly take it.

Snooping behind Key, you hit him with the tray quiet hard making him fall flat on his back. You look at him feeling guilty of what you did.

"Sorry Key. I can't let you know this" you whisper as you putting down the tray on the counter. You sigh unconsciously when think about Minho.

'Should I tell him? From what I see, he's an angel too..but he looks so scary'

As you're drowning in your bubble of thoughts, you didn't know the white-haired guy standing behind you.

"Trying to think of spells are you?"

You shriek and your hand went up to his face but...

".....ow..."

Holding your hand, your head lowers down trying to endure the pain that was raged.

"What are you, mister? Besides of being an angel? Were you made some kind of rock or something? Erghh.."

Your face began to change due to the pain.

Out of the blue, he began to laugh which made you puzzled with his change of demeanor. You suddenly felt angry with him.

"Jonghyun, we're here to take Minho, not making fun of people. Aish this guy" the dark brown-haired said as he approach you.

"I'm sorry" he said as he gently take your hand and stroking your hand. Your eyes widened when you see a blue light emerged under his palm.

"There. Good as new" he then smiled. The other guy were still laughing.

You were shocked of what just happened. An angel just healed your broken hand.

"I-I..that was cool!"

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER!?"

Minho suddenly stormed in the house and judging by his face and his vibes.. You know he's angry.

"Ah, finally Min--"

"I SAID, WHAT DID YOU TO HER?"

Minho grips Jonghyun's shoulder roughly with his deadly stares. While the other guy, Jonghyun is in the calm state.

"I did nothing. Ask her" he said.

Minho then turns to you with a worry face.

"Are you hurt? Did he do anything?"

You found yourself shook your head.

"Well...I kinda punched him in the face but instead, I'm the one getting hurt 'cause his face were hard like a stone. And this kind mister just healed my hand. Look!"

As if nothing ever happened, you make your way to him and showed your hand. Minho grabs it, examined it like it was his life line. You giggled at the sight of it.

"Sorry to interrupt..whatever this is, but you're gonna have to come with us" Jonghyun butted in.

"No I won't" Minho scoffed.

"Suit yourself" Jonghyun then smirks.

Suddenly Minho fall down to his knees, his veins appearing on his body. You were shocked, but even more shocked when you see Jonghyun's eyes turning from clear hazel to silver grey.

"No stop, please! Please! Stop it!"

You bend down as well, holding Minho in your arms as you turn your gaze to Jonghyun.

"Please mister! Stop it please!"

"Then make him go back to the Kingdom with us or.."

He doesn't have to finish his sentence to make you understand. You then slowly nod your head and seeing your reply, his eyes turned to normal hazel again.

"Minho, just go with them"

"I can't let you all alone" he grunt.

You rolled your eyes.

"I'll be fine. I promise" you then held his pinky then intertwined it with yours.

You help him stand up, hands on his waist as you help him to steady himself.

"I should've ask your help earlier. Sorry for your hand though, _____"

You see Jonghyun quirked a smile to you, and you smile a little.

"I won't be long"

You just smile and kiss his cheek.

"Just go. They're waiting. Don't worry about me, I'll be fine" you assured him.

Minho reluctantly nods and lets you go.

"Hear that, Minho? " Jonghyun asked.

Minho gave him a death glare.

"Ease up Minho. She'll be fine. And plus, someone will look after her" the dark brown-haired said and winks at you.

"Who?" Jonghyun and Minho asked in unison.

"Come on, we're gonna be late" the other guy said.

"Let's go. Queen Moon awaits" Jonghyun said before stretching his wings out which soon followed by the other guy.

Minho glance at you for the last time, before cracks up a smile.

"Be safe for me" he whispers.

"I will" you whisper back. Minho then stretch his wings out before the three of them went out the door. Leaving you alone with Key.

After what happened, you struggle  lifting Key to the couch and lay on the carpet, thinking what will you tell him about the angels.

'Okay, this is hard'
