Chap. 23

Minho's POV;

"Mi-Minho?"

My heart swelled in happiness as my name rolled of her tongue. All those years by her side, she never knew my name and I didn't planned to tell her either way.

The name she made up for me sounded right so I let her call me that.

"Lea-- Minho, erm...I-I..it's a..."

I laughed at her stutterness. It's so cute.

"What is it angel?"

I asked, intertwining our hands together, while my free hand stroked her back slowly.

"Is it you who always hug me?"

I hum in response.

"Plus, I was the one splashed the water at you while you were at Key's"

With that, she lift her head and I see tears starting to formed.

"If it's you, why you didn't show up in the first place? Why'd you let me almost be raped by a stranger? Why you didn't just let me fall on the ground an--"

I instantly shut her off by hugging her, pulling her close to me. She can't deal with it anymore, she let a soft cry and that pained me. Truly it is.

"Shh, now now angel. Musn't cry."

Pulling away, I place a soft kiss on her temple, cupping her cheeks. I stare in her (your eye color) eyes lovingly.

"_____, there's something you need to understand here. I'm an angel. Before I showed up, I made a promise to myself that I will be invisible until your birthday comes.  But I realize, that was never going to happen after-- Well, angels must keep their promises or there will be consequences"

"Like what? Getting punish just for breaking promises?"

She chuckled with what she said, but I just kept quiet. Seeing me being silence, her chuckles died slowly. Her hands swiftly cupped my face and looked at me.

"Don't say you'll leave me again? I can't lose you twice! Please don't go!"

She immediately pulled me in her arms, generally suffocating me but I didn't care less. I wrap my arms around her and nuzzle into the crook of her neck. I feel so happy hearing her said that.

Almost made my wings stretching out due to the overload happiness.

I stroked her hair and her back, whispering,

"Angel, listen to me. I will never, ever leave you again. Leaving you will be the last thing I ever wanted in this world. I rather swim in hot, boiling water if it can make you're happy"

I could feel her chuckle silently so I pull away to see her.

"Really? I still remember when I gave you hot choco during the winter's Eve, you blow it to cool it off"

"Har har, very funny" I scoffed. She's still remember that.

"Listen, not for one second I'll ever leave you. If I can, I'll take you to my Kingdom but..."

"But you can't. I understand. Just... Just stay with me, I can't bare to lose you again. Please?"

Her pleading eyes made my heart pounding against my chest. I pull her closer in my arms, kissing her hair countless of times.

"I promise. Now go to sleep angel. I'll always be here when you wake up"

She just nod and kiss my cheek before cuddling closer to me.

"I love you, Minho"

"I love you. Shh, sleep"
