'Stick that in your mind, _____'

Kris's POV;
Pushing the door open, a whaft of Mrs. Graye's cooking tickles my nostrils, automatically making my stomach rumble in hunger. That's one of my favorite things about her. Closing the door behind me, I make my way to the kitchen. But on my way there, my eyes spot someone slept with a book on his chest. Or her. Stepping back, her peaceful sleep face calms me and I walk to her side. I kneeled down, brushing away gently a few locks of her hair to the side.
"I miss you, Bubble" I whisper as I stare a beautiful living porcelain doll. The name Bubble appeared from nowhere as I thought of her always. It suits her, to be honest. Her cheerful side always making me crave for her smile and that made me at the edge of the patience scale. I couldn't wait to see her. Stroking her head, my fingers trailed on her hair and start again on her temple. The tips felt a little hot when they stayed there. I frowned.
Putting my palms on her temple gently, she was burning up. But there are no signs of sweating. That's a good thing. Pulling back my hand, she starting to stir a bit in her sleep. Lines on her face obviously showed as well. As if she needed the touch. From me. I rest my hand on hers and the stir stops. A faint footsteps heard from behind. I don't need to turn around to see who it was.
"What's wrong, Kris? Have you eaten yet?"
Mrs. Graye ruffles my hair as she usually does whenever I just come home. I avert my gaze to her and say in a worry tone, "Please fetch me a small towel and a bowl of warm water." Then, I look at _____ again. The blood on her face slowly starting to drain out.
"But you can heal her with your powers"
Okay, that was embarassing. I could feel my blood rushing to my face and feeling myself blushing. How can I forget that I could heal her? Scratching my nape, I let out a sigh and lower my head down. "Yeah.." I muttered slowly, waiting for her to go away. But she didn't. So I have to do it in front of her.
Resting my palm on her head, a blue light emerged. Her temple absorbing the light and her body temperature cools down. Afterwards, her body temperature went back to normal. I smile and caressed her cheek. There was a gentle grip on my shoulder, squeezing them.
"You still have them I see. I don't think you are the Fallen One like they said you are" she said. When I discovered my powers since the last time I had them, I was truly surprised to see it came back. All of that happen after I laid my eyes on her. Smiling like an idiot, I turn my head to the frail old woman. A rumble was heard in the quiet room. Mrs. Graye smirks.
"I've prepare your meal"
