Chap. 51

Kris's POV;

Halfway walking to her room, I heard soft snores and when I looked down, she was already asleep in my arms. My heart pours out its feeling of sympathy towards her after what happened today. Ahead of me, Mrs. Graye and Hara were talking to each other, but their conversation stopped when they saw her.

"Is she okay, Kris?"

Mrs. Graye immediately nearing us with Hara behind her. The older woman studied her face. She put her palm on her forehead if she have any fever at all. I shake my head to her.

"She's fine, Mrs. G" I said to her and continue to walk. But before I could, I turn to the older woman.

"Prepare a mushroom soup and please send it to her room"

She nod and hurried away leaving Hara alone. I didn't turn to her and enter her room, pushing the door with my back and walk to the bed. I lay her down gently on the mattress, she shifted uncomfortably and stay still for a while, maybe trying to find the perfect spot.

After she did, I pull the comforter up until her shoulders, adjusting it so she wouldn't feel too hot. I heard faint footsteps. I didn't turn around as I know who it was.

"What happened to her?"

She slowly walk beside me and sat on the other side of the bed.

"Jonghyun was upset and shouted things to her. I never expected that from him, as he usually known as the reasoning angel. But when he met her again, he was a total different angel than I thought he would be. He blamed her for Minho's well being and how she made him got sick for the first time in his angel life" I explained to her.

I grasp _____'s hand gently and the memories of her came to me. The moment when she stepped into the house, her reunion hugs with Key and Taemin, her short moment with Minho, that one was a bit happy for her. But my heart ached when the moment Jonghyun shouted to her right in the face.

He shouldn't said that.

He just made things worse.

Worst than I thought.

All of her feelings went down through me and I felt what she was feeling at the moment. The pain was inevitable. But all of that stop when we heard the door was pushed open.

"So, how is our little dear holding up?"

Tao leaned on the side of the door with his arms folding.

"Shut up Tao" Hara snapped.

She was being pretty defensive everytime Tao comes around. Her history with Tao was bad and I was there saw everything.

"Ooh, someone's growing up I see"

I exhaled inwardly as I know where this was going.

"Someone's plumber growing up I see"

That made him boiled in anger. Tao does not like to be called as a plumber as he lived as one in his old life. As a human. He marched towards Hara with a scowl and I stand up, holding him off.

He gave her a death glare and Hara replied the same.

"Stop it, both of you"

Tao shrugged it off and went beside me, watching her asleep.

"I hope you didn't forget something" he said in a low tone.

I kept quiet as I know where he was going. He was about to say something when we heard footsteps came in.

"Why she still doing here?"

In the corner of my eyes, Aviana hugged Tao's arms with her sour face. Then I take a glance at Hara. Even without expressing it, I could see she was clenching her jaws, her knuckles went white gripping the sheets tightly.

If it wasn't for Aviana, Hara would still be together with Tao right now.

Hara looked away unable to watch their 'friendly' gestures longer than she could.

"Relax babe, she'll be useful for us soon" Tao replied and turn his head to me.

"I thought you're gonna throw her away as soon as possible" Aviana pouted.

"No one's...going to throw her away and she will live with us" I said with a stern face without looking at her.

I know Aviana hates every girl we had brought in this house. Including Hara herself as she had taken Tao away from her.

'Looks pretty boring to me. What does she have that I don't have?'

I was controlling myself not to smile hearing that thought of hers. She has everything Aviana couldn't have of her own.

"C'mon babe. Let's roll"

Tao then pull Aviana behind him. The girl glared Hara and _____ before disappeared behind the door.

"Damn it, give me one reason why I can't kill her now"

I turn my head to Hara. Her attitudes changed a bit lately after _____'s advent. And I noticed a change in her when she approached _____.

"She'll be useful for us"

"For what?"

"You'll see"

Hara sighed and adjusted the comforter as _____ stir a bit. I watched her every move.

Maybe _____'s presence is making a change to us.
