Chap. 52

Your POV;

"Because of you, HE WAS BURNING UP THE WHOLE TIME! BECAUSE OF YOU, MINHO'S LIFE IS IN DANGER! And personally for me, I think I would be eternally greatful if a girl like you should have NEVER EXISTED!"

You woke up hearing Jonghyun's voice ringing in your mind and the sudden awake of yours made you feel extremely dizzy.

A gentle push on your shoulder make you look up.

"Rest"

It was Hara and you lay back down, considering you yourself didn't have any energy. You feel so cold and pull the comforter until up your nose.

A palm was rested on your forehead but you don't care who it was because you were closing your eyes. Eventhough you don't wanna sleep, your eyes deny your orders and the dizziness was still there.

Not a moment later, you feel a familiar hand on your forehead and you lean closer. The sound of a door being closed was heard and you feel someone's wrapping their arms around you.

You didn't bother to move it away.

It felt so right.

And soon, you dozed off again.

Kris's POV;

She's having a fever like Hara said. She told me as soon as I entered her room. I was checking Mrs. Graye in the kitchen, making sure the soup doesn't taste like sewer water, even if Mrs. Graye is an excellent cook but I still wanna check it.

I lay down beside her and pull her close to me. As soon as our skin made contact, her body temperature cooled down instantly and she moved closer.

I sometimes would wonder why my powers came back. Not all of it though, but it looks like I started realized I have it the moment I took her.

I leaned my head with one hand and watched her sleep.

A few strands of her hair was on her face. Gently, I take it slowly and put in behind her ears carefully, not wanting the little dear to wake up.

Her face is filled with tranquility.

She is tranquility to me.

I never feel this peaceful with anyone. Even if I did with those girls back then, I never felt satisfy.

But ____'s presence alone made me feel right.

And strangely, the feeling that would usually emerged everytime Tao brought girls, but not this time.

Another feeling that made go all weird was, everytime I planned doing it to her, I would get the feeling of guilty.

'I hope you didn't forget something'

I sighed slowly when Tao's words flew across my mind.

I do want her to live with me.

I do want her.

But the thought of her having her own wings made me think twice.

Tao already made the wings by himself and waited me to call him if the time is right.

She is so innocent for all of this.

I suddenly have a feeling.

A feeling where I should go and watch Tao.

I slowly got out of the bed, but before I go, I kissed her forehead and went to Tao's room.

Before my hand touched the doorknob, I heard a distinct conversation from the inside and I activated my super hearing.

I'm so greatful I got my powers back, all thanks to _____.

"Let me get this straight, if she got her wings and Kris's powers completely back, this means he will be powerful than the rest of us?"

It was Aviana. I waited Tao's answer and shifted closer the door, leaning my ear on it to hear it clearly.

"He will. That's why I will need your help to get rid of him"

"And the girl? Don't tell me you're planning to keep her"

I could sense jealousy in her voice when she mentioned _____.

"Babe, I'm giving you the opportunity to kill her. Afterwards, we will rule Underworld together"

Then the sounds of kissing started to take over and I immediately shut my super hearing down.

My blood is boiling in anger after what I heard.

Instead of following my anger and kill him right away, a smile crept on my lips as an idea just popped up.

An idea where I will do something that will backfired Tao's plan on getting rid of me.
