Chap. 59

"____!?"

"Kris?"

As we both turn around, Key was holding a tray of cookies with a shock expression and Taemin stood beside him with the same expression as Key's.

Key's eyes grew bigger and wider when he stares something behind me. I knew he was looking at my wings.

"Taemin, you okay? Why are--"

Minho and Jonghyun came inside and instantly both of them glued to their spot when they see us.

In a matter of seconds, Jonghyun pinned me on the wall with his tight grip on my neck, chocking me. I gasped for air and I was trying hard to fight back but the more I struggle, the more tight he grips.

"Jonghyun let her go!" Minho yelled and was about to stop him but Kris stopped him.

"Let him" he calmly said.

Minho stared at him in disbelief but Kris just keep calm.

"Hyung, he's gonna kill her!" Taemin step in but Kris stop him too.

"Watch" was all Kris said.

I couldn't breathe normally as I tried to fight back. Dizziness kicked in but I wasn't gonna let that happen.

With all my strength, I pushed him harder sending him in the air and into the wall. I dropped on the floor, gasping for air and it felt so good to breathe again.

Minho came to me and help me get up on my feet. He cupped my face in his hands and for once, I miss his touch.

"You okay? I missed you so much!"

He immediately engulfed me in his hug, showering me kisses on my face and lastly ended on my forehead.

"I miss you too Minho. I miss all of you" I said and hug him again. Then I let go of him and ran to Key who already had his arms open for me. I lunge to him and hug him so tight until I can hear him gasping for air. I let go of him quickly.

"Damn girl, you sure got stronger with him" Key said and ruffles my hair. Then I walk to Taemin who couldn't stop staring at me.

Without a word, he hugs me and I leaned my head on his shoulder.

"What did you do to her, Kris?" I heard Minho's voice and let go of Taemin. Kris walked beside me and led me to Minho.

"How on earth a human could fight me back? You better explain it to us otherwise something really bad would happen to you" said Jonghyun with a threat.

"I never meant for this to happen--" Kris started but cut off by Jonghyun.

"Oh please like we don't know who you are, you little brat" Jonghyun was about to lunge at him but I immediately step myself in front of Kris, stopping Jonghyun.

"Let him finish" I said with a growl, making everyone's eyes on me.

"Calm down, hyung" Minho added.

Kris clears his throat and continues.

"I never meant for this to happen. All I know is, I have to kill her for her heart. But the sooner I took her to the Underworld, something changed. Tao kept insisting on about the wings that we created for her. At first, I badly wanted the power and my desire to kill began to heightened.

But every time I wanted to do that, something stopped me from doing it. All I know was she is the only one making me grew stronger than before. The reason I came here is to tell you what was Tao's plan because the way I heard, he wanted to kill me and _____ after the battle with the Kingdom soon."

Then Kris looks at me.

"Do you know why I put the jelly bean in your mouth?" He asked.

I slowly shake my head.

"Tao wouldn't be able to track us for a few hours. If we didn't take it, we might get ourselves into a big trouble. Plus, Tao is a very tricky person to trust with"

"Damn. Wait wait hold on. Are you saying _____ here has some kind of power? What is it?" Key asked with wonder.

I suddenly look at Key with hatred filling my eyes. It was like I should crush him now and then Jonghyun who wouldn't stop staring at me like I was about to pounce on him sooner or later.

"She has a Healer's Heart" Kris said, making the angels surprised.

"Minho's first time fever was gone when she touched him" he continued.

"It's very rare for a human having a Healer's Heart in this time of being" Taemin chimed in.

This is getting interesting. I have a Healer's Heart.

"I doubt that. Let's try her again yes?"

Jonghyun's words somehow brings out the anger within me. He grabbed my wrist and leans closer to my face.

"I highly doubt a human like her could have such power" Jonghyun said with a smirk.

With my might, I grab his collar and punched him in the face. I never felt that much satisfying when it comes to punching someone and it was a great feeling to be honest.

"_____, stop" a gentle touch on my shoulder making me more angrier than before. I turn around to see Minho watching me with a puzzling face.

"Don't touch me" I said through a gritted teeth.

"____, you okay?"

Taemin step closer to me and I didn't waste time to push him away.

Kris gets hold of my arm and forced me to face him.

"What is wrong with you, ____? We have to get going"

"But you just got here" Minho said.

Kris turns to him and I struggle to let go of myself from his deadly gripped.

"Minho, tell me. Is this the _____ you know? Because what I see now, I doubt that very much. We have to go. Tell my parents about the battle that will happen soon" he said before teleporting us back to the mansion.

He shoved me on the floor but I get up quickly.

"____, this isn't you!" Kris shouted to me.

"Leave me alone!" I shouted back to him but he wouldn't budge.
