Chap. 9

Throughout the day, you are trembling with fear after receiving the strange, yet scary message.

Your breathe becomes unstable, every movement you made in the house alerting you to aware any danger that may harm your life.

Once again, the warm feeling comes again, wrapping themselves around your body, as if making you feel safe.

One thousand and one questions popping each and every second in your mind.

Who is he?

Do you know him?

Is he in the house right now?

Does he intend to do inappropriate things to you?

Or worse... Kill you!?

Every chain of thought containing violent images of you being..whatever you may think of, making you shudder.

*knock knock*

The sound of knocking startled you from the very core. Looking at the clock on the wall, the short hand points to 4.

Making your way to the door, turning the doorknob, you see Key bringing two paperbags in his hands, smiling to you.

"Are you okay, _____? You look like you just seen a ghost"

A worry expression showed on his face. His brows knitted in concern.

You are about to tell him what happen in this morning, but somehow, you felt someone grip your shoulders, but not too strong.

"Oh, it's nothing. I was just drowning myself watching YouTube all day, and happen to watch paranormal footage before you knock the door"

The explanation managed to make him believe.

"What are we waiting for, _____? Ready to see-and-eat?"

You smirk.

"Aye-aye Captain. By the way, what's in the bag?"

"Oh this? Just 3 big bags of popcorn and 4 bottles of Cola"

For 5 hours straight, both of you continue to popping the popcorns and drink Cola while watching the movies.

You glance the clock from the corner of your eyes.

You turn your head to see Key concentrating on the screen. Giggled softly, you lean to him.

"It's already night time. Aren't you going home?"

Key paused the movie.

"Hm, can I stay here for the night? I promise you won't see me by the crack of dawn"

His glowy brown eyes didn't give you the time to think twice. His presence gives you the comfort, of course. Besides, you know him since high school.

"You can sleep here as long as you want, you know. Besides, we both have parents that went away for work"

You winked.

He squeals in excitement as you said that. His bubbly and cheerful personality instantly make you forget the morning incident.

Out of nowhere, a growl was heard in the room, making both of you silent immediately.

The warm feeling vanish when you let Key stay.

'That's odd'

You thought to yourself.

To make the situation like nothing ever happen, Key press the play button on the remote.

You, on the other hand, wondering what just happen.

It can't be him...
