Chap. 63

3rd person's POV:

For hours the Prince search and search the guy who had helped him from the start but it seems like he was nowhere to be found. This made him even more upset and boiling in anger when he knows Tao had probably knew what was going to happen and decided to take off before the Prince made his move.

"Fuck!"

The Prince roared in his room and punched the wall, did not even care about the pain that was raging in his knuckles. All he cared was when he looked straight into her eyes, the memories that was trapped in certain parts of her brain came flowing out to him at once.

The reason he came to her room was he want to check her whether she was feeling better but instantly changed once he step into her room. The scents was inexplicably alluring, almost...almost smells like sex.

The minute he made eye contact with her, he saw the two of them connecting lips, tasting each other's mouths. What he didn't catch was, how and where did Tao learned to hide memories? Even the worst part is, ___ was actually kissing him.

Exhaling loudly, he sat on the edge of his bed, bury his face in his hands, thinking who could possibly knew Tao's whereabouts and maybe they know about it.

"Come on, you idiot. Think!"

Kris grunts to himself, feeling exhausted as ever, when all of a sudden, there was only one and only person who's known to be very close to him.

Not Hara, no.

"Aviana" the name escaped from his lips, earning him a smile.

[Aviana's Room]

Aviana was pacing back and forth in her room. The
incident that happened in ___'s room had shook her to her very core. As far as she knows, Kris was the only who had eyes completely turn black when something upsets him.

But this one was way unexpected and surprisingly dangerous for anyone who knew ___.

Aviana jumped in fear when heard her door slammed open widely, gracing Kris walked inside her room with his piercing eyes that was trained on her.

Aviana clutch to her chest, fear for the Prince that might do something that will kill her. She takes a step backwards from him as the Prince walks along her bed.

"What are you doing in my room?" She breathed out, even though she was feeling scared of the Prince's presence, she doesn't want to let him know that she's afraid of him.

Kris didn't answer, he let his fingers trailed on the bed, gaze fixed on the mattress and walk towards Aviana who's backing away.

Aviana suddenly found herself on the bed with Kris on top of her. She feels like under a trance when both of them made an eye contact. Kris placed his elbow on the side of her head, playing her hair on the top of her head while the other tracing her cheek ever so gently as if she was made out of a fragile ruby.

Aviana closes her eyes and lean to his touch. Kris slowly lean down until their noses touched, making her breathing unstable. Kris leans to her ear.

"Where's Tao?" He whispers, nibbling her earlobe, making her arch her back a bit by his actions. Her hands found their way to his hair, tangling them between her slender fingers.

"He um...he said he went to ___'s world to find someone" she said slowly. Kris began kissing her neck to make her keep talking. "Go on" he said, continue showering her neck with his lips.

"It's for ___ once she knew how to use her powers. We all know she has the Healer's Heart that can...um..
change some of our powers into more...powerful than before. Her transformations does not just change or utilise the power that we possess, but also emerging something new that we never know they exist"

Aviana was still closing her eyes, unaware the Prince on top of her was already pulled into a smile. He then fixed his gaze on her eyelids, waiting for them to open up. When Aviana did not feel something, she fluttered her eyes open and saw that Kris was staring her straight into her eyes.

Once she did, Aviana was on the edge of slipping into darkness. Her head was spinning, as if the world spun too fast for her and not a minute later, she dozed off.

"Why I didn't think of you in the first place?" He whispered to himself, getting himself away from her body. He sat on the edge of the bed.

"...but also emerging something new that we never know they exist"

Aviana's words somehow could be believed in. From what he saw in her memories, when ___ thought Aviana was Hara, when she easily shoved Aviana away, especially when ___ opened her eyes just to see a pair of black eyes, all of what Aviana had explained was true.

The thing is, why the heck Tao didn't even told him a single thing? Kris mentally smacked himself on the head as he remembered Tao wanted to kill him and ___.

"Looks like your plan on hiding it from me just failed" he said to himself and went away from her room. For once, he felt glad one of Tao's plan didn't worked out like he thought it would.

[On Earth@___'s home]

Key, Jonghyun and Taemin sitting around the counter in the kitchen in a comfortable silence, knowing that there's no suitable topic to talk about. In the middle of the kitchen counter, a few bottles of berry juice were neatly arrange in front the three of them.

The sight of the bottles taking Key back to where the two of them, ___ and him were still together in the house.

'What's mine is yours! Except for the vanilla ice cream!'

Closing his eyes, he heard her voice ringing in his mind. Taemin, who's beside Key, pat him on the shoulder in a comfort manner.

Jonghyun, on the other hand, decides to break the silence among them. He cleared his throat.

"Tell me something. Did you guys...ever—"

A knock was heard on the door that cut Jonghyun's words.

Taemin stood up and walked to the door, turning the doorknob and pull it open.

"Who was it?" Jonghyun asked without looking, same goes for Key.

Taemin poke his head outside to see no one was standing in the doorway.

"I don't see anyone—ERGGH!"

Jonghyun's and Key's head snapped to the door, just to find Taemin was laying on his stomach unconscious.

"What the—Taemin!"

Jonghyun rushes over to Taemin, flipping him over and grab his shoulder, shaking him to wake up. But his efforts led to nothing.

"Sorry guys, I might need him for a while"

Jonghyun's forehead creased hearing Key's voice. This one was different and no sooner he turned to look at Key, his eyes widened when he saw Tao choking Key until he was in mid air, making Key suffocating.

Tao gave Jonghyun a smirk.

"Let him go!" Jonghyun shouted and lunge forward to tackle him down, but he landed on the floor with a thud.

Jonghyun clenched his jaw. With eyes closed, he let a powerful punch on the floor in frustration.

For once, he never feel such failure of being a General that could not protect humans. Let alone protecting his kind that just knocked out cold on the floor that just making him loathing himself more.
