Forty.

"Genie this better be good." Claudia sighs as she sits down across from me.

"I need your help."

"With what?" Claudia frowns at me before raising her eyebrows.

"Luke's present." I smirk and Claudia instantly shakes her head.

"How can I help you with that?"

"You can help me find him something." I tell her.

"Why can't your boyfriend help you?, you know Luke's best friend." The small smile I have on my face instantly drops. I had walked around the shops for a good twenty minutes before I called Claudia.

I felt so incredibly bad for saying that to him. I mean I knew what i said was the truth but it didn't seem like it. I know we had been fake dating and all but it was getting to the point were it felt all too real and I think Calum had figured that out a little while ago.

"We kind of had a fight."

"Kind of? what happened?" Claudia asks looking concerned.

"He was being annoyingly jealous." I shrug and Claudia snorts.

"You had a fight because he was being jealous?"

"Uh yeah."

"Genie that's so stupid." Claudia grins. "The fact that he got jealous just proves that he's even more crazy about you then I thought."

"What?" I shake my head. Calum crazy about me? yeah I don't think so.

"You started that argument right?" Claudia smirks.

"No." I tell her, he did when asked all those stupid questions.

"Uh huh." Claudia rolls her eyes playfully. "Just make sure you apologize first."

"Why?"

"Because you shouldn't of even gotten in to the argument with him in the first place." Claudia points out and I let out a sigh.

"Okay whatever can we get back to Luke?"

"Can we not. I don't even plan on going to his stupid party." Claudia huffs folding her arms over her chest.

"What do you mean? You have to go." I frown, I couldn't even imagine her not being there.

"I'm trying to avoid that freak of nature."

"Why?" I chuckle.

"Because all I can think about is screwing him and I know if I see him I won't be able to control myself and that really won't help things." Claudia explains and I can't help but grin at her.

"You've really got it bad huh?"

"No I don't have anything bad." Claudia waves off.

"Things would be a lot easier if you just admitted that you had feelings." Funny maybe I should take my own advice.

"I don't have feelings for anyone." Claudia dismisses before standing up. "Are we gonna look for this stupid present now?"

"Knew you would help." I grin before standing up.

I swear I stand outside the apartment door for thirty minutes straight just trying to build up courage to go in and face Calum.

Claudia was right. I did need to apologize but it was easier said than done.

I take a deep breath before finally going inside.

"Ashton you never play!" Is the first thing I hear as I walk in to the living room. Michael and Ashton were currently seated around the tv, Michael had one of the play station controllers in his hands and was staring at Ashton who's attention was solely on his phone.

"I'm busy." Ashton replies before looking up at me and smiling. "Hey Genie."

"Hey boys." I smile.

"Genie do you wanna play?" Michael asks looking at me hopeful.

"No thanks Mikey." I shake my head and he pouts before looking back at the tv. "Where's Calum?" I ask.

"He's in the kitchen." Ashton answers.

"Making me popcorn." Michael adds with a grin.

"Actually he's making us popcorn." Ashton says shaking his head at Michael.

"Whatever Ashton." I stand there smiling at the two of them before dropping my bag on the floor.

Calum walks in a second later and stops in his tracks when he sees me. I give him a small smile which he doesn't return. His eyes drops from mine and returns to his seat next to Michael and puts the bowl of popcorn he was holding on the table.

"Yus!" Michael cheers before grabbing a handful completely oblivious to the tension between Calum and I.

Ashton must pick up on it because he looks between Calum and I with a small frown on his face. I guess I'm gonna have to be the one to make the first move here.

"Cal can I talk to you?" I say awkwardly.

"I don't have anything to say." Calum shrugs keeping his eyes on the tv.

"Uhm I think we need drinks. Come on Michael." Ashton says before standing up and going to the kitchen, Michael groans but follows after Ashton a second later leaving Calum and I in an awkward silence.

Calum lets a annoyed sigh before looking at me, I clear my throat before looking down at the floor then back up to him.

"I'm sorry."

"You don't need to apologize Genie. You're right I'm not your boyfriend." Calum shrugs looking away from me.

"Maybe so but I didn't need to throw it in your face like that." I say before sitting down next to him.

"I overreacted, I guess I didn't realize how much it would bother me seeing another guy want you." Calum admits looking back at me.

"Kyle doesn't want me Calum."

"Oh no he does." Calum says firmly and I can't help but smile. "What?" Calum asks.

"Unfortunately for Kyle, I want somebody else."

"That is unfortunate." Calum gives me a small smile. "I'm sorry."

"So am I." I say before nuzzling in to his shoulder. "I don't like fighting with you, you know."

"Yeah neither do I. Even though you do look pretty hot when you're mad."

"And he's back." I grin up at him.

A/N:Sneaky little update at school because food tech is so boring. Sorry it's kind of short!
