RUFI:
“Nana!” I screamed the moment she walked through the door.
“Baby” we ran towards each other.
“Oh my baby” she cried when I reached her arms. If this is a dream I never want to wake up. I had my Nana in my arms?
“I miss you” she cried into my ears” I miss you!”
“I miss you too Nana!"
She held me back so she could look at me “my baby is grown” she smiled sadly.
When it come to Nana I know even if I’m fifty she'll still call me her baby.
“Where is that little girl of yours?"
“She’s up in her bedroom” I wiped away my tears.
“I got to see my little baby again!” she kissed my cheek the looked at Ivan.
He led her towards Ana-Blaire's room.
My life is going to be good I know. I turned back and mum stood there fidgeting with her scarf. She looked up with conflicted emotions in her eye. I took a step towards her. Another step. One more. I ran. We were in each others arm.
“I’m sorry” she sobbed. “Forgive me!"

That night no one slept in the house. Nana and mum kept praising Ivan and Maria until they both turned purple from embarrassment.
Ana-Blaire was glad to know she had a grandma and a grand-Nana. More people to drain ice-cream from.
Me? I’m just happy my Nana is with me. Nothing else matters

IVAN:
Rufi had never looked this happy before. It's clear she adores her Nana. I always thought it was i alone who loves my Nana that way but, now i see there are two of us.
Nana called this morning to tell me she’s coming next week. Talk about full house. I never thought there would be a time when I’d make use of all eight bedrooms in the house at once. Looks like now is that time.
I’d been driving to the airport to pick my cousin Nelson Dawn. He finally decides to come visit me. He’d be here for a month.
Operation full house.
“I'm going to have a friend?” Ana-Blaire looked at me with hopeful eyes. “Yes, a cool friend” I ruffled her hair.
Nelson did turn out to be more than a cool friend he treated Ana-Blaire like his little sister.
This morning I’m taking them with me to work for a while then we’ll go shopping.
Kids' day out and ladies day out. I go as the kid’s tour guide while every other person i.e Rufi, Abbi, the two Nana’s and Ms Nelson goes out for the ladies day out.
Rufi and her mother were good now. They still don’t have the best mother-daughter relationship but it know they'll get there someday. For now its daddy Ivan taking his kids shopping.

My life these days is more than I ever hoped for. Though mum and Nana had gone to SA, the last months have been happiness filled for me. Nana comes to visit me at least one week out of every Month ..... and mum?
Mum is a total different package from who she used to be. I understand her now though she rarely talks, her silence speaks volume.
