I watched the girls take a cab to the hold while I waited for the delivery of my power bike.
Staying over at this hotel before moving to a closer one to the hospital had been the girl’s idea.
Not that I mind, I love to flex.

Whhhaaoooo!” I love the feel of the warm breeze against my face.

I know very well that I’m drawing attention but hey ……who doesn’t like attention.
I parked by bike then proceeded for the elevator. I might no longer be an agent but I’ll go extra mile for those dear to me.

Click!Click!Click!
Even my shoes know how to draw attention, every one did a double as I walk past. They could tell I’m different, not because of my gait, neither because I’m white but because there is an aura of  don’t dare around me.

People cleared off my way on their own accord. I’m here on a mission and I won’t leave until it’s accomplished. That’s my watchword.

These people aren’t dumb, far from it, they know I’m a time bomb.
What they don’t know is that this forty-two years old woman could move mountains with a flicker of her hand.

I ain’t a nobody dudes, I am Sharon Harrington

Sharon rounded a corner and saw two red heads on a couch. One definitely is Callie.
“Cali Caallieee! She sing song-ed her friends name

“Oh ….my….. Gosh!” Callie jumped off the couch “Sharon!"

“That’s me love” Callie ran into her open arms

“I’ve missed you” Callie hugged her tight

“Me too sweets” Callie had always been like a little sister to Sharon.

“Hey! Here’s my niece Ana-Blaire meet my surrogate mother, Sharon”

Sharon laughed “l don’t know about surrogate”

She caressed Ana-Blaire cheek “hey kiddo! How are you?”

“Very well thank you”

“The youngest Martinez right?”

“For now” Callie stroke Ana-Blaire's shoulder “enjoy it while it last”

“I don’t want to be the youngest Martinez”

“You wouldn’t be” Sharon assured

“Cal. Can we talk now?”

“Sure. Ana-Blaire go on to your aunt Maria, she’s in the café”

After Ana-Blaire left Callie handed her report to Sharon.

“Good job Cal. You’ve covered the essentials”

She asked after Ivan “He’s fighting”
“It’s gonna be OK”
Amen.

The only thing that made Rufi realize it was morning was what sounded like a bird singing from afar.
Diana had pumped that shit into her again.

Her body had been invaded, her head was threatening to burst open from the tug-of-war going on there.
She wasn’t so sure she could fight this anymore. It was better to die.

If you give up I would too

No! She couldn’t allow that to happen.
Ivan why did you have to say that.

Now she had to fight, even if it was a loosing battle.
Even if she lost.

Teresa typed briskly on her laptop, she was sending a mail to Diana. She figure it was risky going to the 'site' everyday as someone-the police-might follow.

From: Teresa Goldrick
Subject: Safety
Date: April 4, 201407:52
To: Diana Lopez
Diana,
I think it safe to change location, you’ve stayed too long at that place.
I’m worried someone would locate you
I don’t want my cover blown
I have a name to protect.
DG
Goldrick construction.

Diana did not reply so Teresa continued her snoopy job which included trying to play the good grandmother to Ana-Blaire, being friendly to all the lowlife here, the most annoying however is to sit and watch Adrian come and leave the hospital with the Bimbo he now goes out with.

If Teresa ever loved Adrian she might have been jealous but what she was feeling was red-hot-fury that she wouldn’t get all his billions. This Bimbo would.

The only reason she kept up with this crap was to make sure no one suspected her. So far no one does, not even the mother of paranoia-Callie.

She’d always wondered if they had not given someone else’s baby to her at the hospital
The only thing that concerned her about the life of that sissy in the ICU is that he could help her financially, if he died all his money would go to Callie.

Callie? Mother fucker!
Ivan’s money wouldn’t go to Callie but Rufi and, if she killed Rufi. Which she would, the money would go to the bastard seated by her. Ana-Blaire mar…. Brown.
No, that couldn’t happen. Ivan had to survive.

This could get messy, she’d have to kill Ana-Blaire then Callie possibly Christen before the money get to her. Wh…
What is Adrian got in between? She’d have to kill him too.

That would be gross.
What if she had to?

You’ll cross that bridge when you get there.

Noah McKenna and his guys were heading to where they hope is the house of the world known rapist to retrieve whatever they could.
As the younger policeman drove the van, McKenna's though drove him. He thought of his mother. Then his sister.

That night had marked his family specially. He had only been four then but remembered the night with as much clarity as he would what happened a minute ago. Watching his eight months pregnant mother being gang raped had marked the beginning of the destruction of something deep inside of him.

That event let his mother into a forced labor which she did not survive. But she left them a princess. Noah had watched his father from happy, loving, and responsible to a drunk and dead man.

Thank God for their princess who was able to revive him just when Noah felt his family was strong again, history repeated itself, their princess was raped.
That was the day Noah went numb.

She got pregnant and then the baby died. That broke Yvonne and sent her to the psychiatrist.

That killed him or maybe what was left of him. It also birthed the cold, emotionless and workaholic man he was before meeting Nicole.

The man who gave his heart in exchange for emptiness because that was better than the pain he had been feeling.

“sir, we’re there” one of his men called him.
Noah straightened and pushed his personal issue to the back of his mind.
Himself and four others went into the rundown building they’ve been informed Jackson owned.
His entourage had all jilted him since he was arrested.

It took him no time to adjust to the smoke filled and dark apartment. He had been doing this for years. He switched on his flash light to illuminate the room. Whey they had enough light they began their search.

Grey must think it cool to keep a picture of those he’d destroyed and shattered.
Noah was about pushing open a door that might lead to a room but stopped at the sound of gun. A shot followed closely by another.

Noah knew this won’t be as easy as it looked. Grey had diehard followers.
