Yamna was not a psychologist but she could easily read the expression and thoughts flitted across her friends eyes who was sitting in front of her. Her mind was empty, at least that is what her eyes said. It was as if she didn't know herself or Yamna at all. She was tense and depressed.

Yamna had doubts that Eman would be taken over by her depression. "Would you like to tell me what's the matter? Is there something which I don't know?" Yamna finally asked.

"Nothing," Eman said with distinct dispassion in her voice, thought the fact Eman couldn't look at Yamna gave away that statement, lie it was.

Yamna narrowed her eyebrows, "Really? You expect me to believe that?"

Eman tried to clarify. She rose her eyes to Yamna's with a look of disgust before saying, "You know I have stomach problems. It happens sometimes."

Yamna replied, "This isn't about stomach problems Eman and you know it. It's about that boy."

Eman in her still tone with a heavy sigh, she caved. "Yeah, you're right." Why did she even try to hide it?

Yamna questioned again, "Are you really involved with him?"

With her still eyelids and tears starting to pool in her eyes, she nodded, " Yes."

Yamna asked critically, "But who is he?"

Eman replied, "You don't know him."

Yamna asked, "What was his name?"

Eman answered, "Farhan."

Yamna looked, "So."

Eman was staring at her hand's line in helplessness, "Then nothing."

Yamna was speechless and she don't know, how to console her? After a few seconds she tried to speak, "You could at least try to forget him."

Eman smiled, and replied," Which love took three years to create so It feels like it will take three centuries to forget."

Yamna said harshly, "Are you mad?"

Yamna again spoke after a few seconds of silence, "Look, You've to believe and trust in Allah. He has prepared someone perfectly just for you. Sooner or later He will bring you two together, just keep asking and don't give up hope. He's all-knowing."

Later that night, while swallowing the recommended dose of sleeping pills. She would come to realize that she'll never stand in her life after this fall. She would never recover as there is no feeling of the presence of earth beneath her feet.

Slowly she slept by the effect of pills.

The next morning, Eman sat at a table filled with embarrassment, her sore eyes and red face was wet from the tears she continued to shed.

At every passing nanosecond, her embarrassment increases.

Finally yamna broke the ice, " So that is the reason you can't sleep at night. You spend the whole time weeping and in the morning you just try to pass it as trouble sleeping. That's the reason of your eyes are sore and red," Yamna scolded. It was simply something best friends did. But with every passing day, she became less and less tolerant of Eman's behaviour.

Eman refuses to speak, looking away from her friend, unable to meet her eyes, too embarrassed to even look at her friend.

"Why do you torture yourself and insisting on making your life hell for someone who doesn't care about you? He cheated on you and proposed to his first cousin!" Yamna complained.
