Khizer whispered, "Eman."Eman nodded.
Khizer held her arms gently and said, "You know, you are the most beautiful part of my life. When I saw the report, that we'd be having a baby, I had no words to express my feelings. When we got married, I thought it was the most beautiful thing to ever happen to me, but now, when I think of our baby who will be a sign of our love, my happiness has no boundaries. Your prayers for blessing me more were accepted by our Lord. He blessed me more. He gave me beyond what I deserve. I'm grateful that He gives you to me as my partner. This satisfaction is so much more than I deserve."
As tears formed in his eyes, Eman was still and staring at his face, arms still held gently in his hands. His confession was quite simple but it touched every part of her heart and soul.
Khizer confessed, "Eman, I love you."
Khizer wanted to hear something in response. The first time he read the same expression in her eyes, perhaps he was so close to her that they knew each other inside and out.
It was like he was hypnotizing her with the magical effect of his eyes.
When Eman finally opened her mouth, she hardly spoke, "Thank you."
He laughed involuntarily and took a deep breath.
While closing his eyes, he thought, some wishes can't be fulfilled by trying. Some questions were answerless. But Allah is merciful and compassionate. He has power over all the things. Khizer, no matter how disappointed, he knew he'd have to wait.
If there was another female so close to khizer Murtaza. He got a love confession in response from her. But she was Eman Mustafa, whose gratefulness was enough.
He bent softly, touched her lips then her forehead.
Khizer went abroad for a business meeting for a week, but due to some emergency, he had to spend two weeks there.
Eman was behaving like a depressed patient. She was missing him terribly.
Sometimes we did not understand why we were missing someone. We missed them so our mind thinks of them, or we think about them so we missed them. No one knew about the complete mechanism of the chemistry of heart.
She was angry or depressed or in love. She didn't know how to name her feelings, she slept in her thoughts.
Khizer was holding her hand, they seated in a garden where there was a lake, the water was blue and pure in which fishes of almost every colour swam.
Eman said unbelievably, "You would come?"
Khizer grinned, "Yeah, sweetheart."
He was laying and as she bent to touch him, he disappeared.
She opened her eyes, it was a dream and began to cry like children.
The matter was not loved, the matter was her habit and strong addiction towards him. She was addicted to his presence. Sometimes addiction was many more times dangerous than love.
Missing someone is not about from how much time you didn't talk to him or how much distance you were, but it is about when you were doing something and you felt as if he'll be here with you at the moment. She thought.
When I closed my eyes as I thought about him, His look that itself was an invitation to sin. His eyes in which I wanted to get lost. His stunning personality which I...her imagination stopped at this point. She had no words to complete her sentence. She didn't confess this in front of him. She just thanked him when he told her about his feelings.
