Alan fought the crowds, trying desperately to reach the hospital.

Hang on Mara! He thought. I'm coming just hang on!

The people pushed and shoved and fought to get to the Launch Bay, where planes and choppers would evacuate them to Beta 1. But, after battling hard, Alan managed to fight his way to the hospital. He into the hospital, exhausted, but desperate to reach Mara and get her out of here and to safety before the Dictator could hurt her anymore.

                                                                                     -_-

"I have to go evacuate the patients hurt worse than you," the Nurse said as she ran out of the room."But I promise I'll come back for you as fast as I can!"

Mara was afraid, but she refused to show it. She knew Alan was coming, Grace's ring detected his presence, rapidly getting closer.

"So what do we do?" Marina asked, visibly scared.

     "We wait." Mara said.

"Wait for what?" Vian exclaimed. He wanted to get everyone in the room to safety quickly because they were like family to him. Especially Bridgett and Marina.

"Alan," Mara said."He'll be here any minute."

"How do you know?" Vian said.

Mara held up her hand, showing Grace's ring."Aiden gave me this before he....." Mara stopped. She didn't want to say or accept that he was dead. He had become a good friend. He was like a brother to her.

"Before he disappeared." Pearl cut in. She liked the guy too. And she knew how Mara felt. They both have very similar tastes in music.(Dubstep, electronic. No definite instrument, and not allot of real singing. Skrillex, Daft Punk, Marshmellow for example.)

"Who Aiden?" Bridgett asked. She had absolutely no idea what was going on and was happening and was terrified by all the loud noises and the panic throughout the people.

"We'll explain later," Mara said."Our priority right now is getting the hell out of here."

Suddenly, Alan burst into the room, completely out of breath. He quickly brushed his hair back onto his face to shadow his eyes again(the wind from running had pushed it out of his face) and said,"Mara!" He hugged her with relief.

"Alan," Mara exclaimed."Are you alright." Alan looked very beat up. He was covered in scratches and bruises.

"I'm fine, but we need to get you out of here!"

"You need to stand up and walk with me." Alan said. He reached over and helped Mara sit up.

"DAAHHH!" Mara cried out from the pain. She felt an intense dull pain in her chest.

(I would know, I had to get a surgery a few months ago to get a 15  pound, football sized cyst removed from my spleen. After the surgery, every movement was AGONY! It hurt to talk allot, breath deeply, move may arms, sit up, walk, etc. Every movement you make makes a muscle in your belly move, or some type of flex in your belly, so every movement HURT! So I imagine a surgery/ being shot in your chest would be the same thing but 10 times worse. Mara had already pushing herself talking as much as she did, so she's already in pain, and sitting up after all that would be agony)

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Mara cried, trying to lay back down. But Alan wouldn't let her, his hand on her back, holding her up.
