inconsistent censorship | PSA about wattpad

Wow that's almost as consistent as my art-style.
So time to about the growing censorship problem in one of the biggest creative social media platforms

So the above are real examples from times comments have been repOrted in a role-play between myself and this sunshine child who shouldn't be wasting their time with me.
For the purpose of their anonymity and the fact no one should see how crappy my replies are I've blurred everything else out.

So by now y'all may know that certain words will automatically eat you censored, cusses, and the word kill, can cause the wattpad algorithm to fucking batshit crazy and kill at fucking random.
However, because wattpad cares about abuse and bullying so much they decided to branch out, widening the number of words that can potentially get your book deleted.

It's honestly so nice to see them take this topic so seriously, and not glamourise abusive and toxic relationships to the point that the authors writing them get movie deals.

So it's clear that this new algorithm is rather...how do I say this politely.....

It's like russian roulette, except less exhilarating, goodness gracious me which comment will get reported!?
So now the need to be even more careful increases, I think I even had a few examples of the word "hate" being blurred out but I am too lazy to scroll through 1.2 comments except when I'm rereading them because friendpie hasn't replied.
I genuinely hope the other person never reads this I am sorry.

But moving on from my giant squish, here is a small list of words you need to censor to protect your book, because even if you have no smut, after a certain amount of reported comments, your entire book gets removed, and no, you can't just contact and admin, because they just send an automated reply and don't do anything.

• Die
• Hate
• Fuck
• Shit

however insults like bitch, faggot and dyke are still perfectly fine so great going wattpad.

So basically, just to be on the safe side, you now have to censor even the most potentially "harmful" words, just to be on the safe side, which makes life extra rough when all you want to do is rp angst and gore.
or is that just me.
In fact I would advise moving extremely gory scenes to your dms, or pms, whatever they're called, just in case, honestly if they ever start censoring the word blood I am utterly screwed
