"So, you're saying na..."

"I'm saying na nililigawan na ako ni Julian."

Joven sighed, pushing back his glasses up to the bridge of his nose. "Seryoso na ba 'to?"

"Oo, seryoso na 'to."

"'Di ba ganon kabilis?"

"Ewan ko nga din, Joven. Natatakot ako eh." You sighed, and took a sip of your mango shake. Malapit nang matapos yung lunch hour n'yo, and you thought about bringing it to class.

"Bakit ka natatakot?" tanong ni Joven. Bigla kang napaisip na dapat alam ni Joven ang sagot, kasi nagmamahal s'ya. You sighed, and looked at him straight in the eye. "Kasi, kapag nagmahal ka, nabigyan ka ng langit ng isang insirasyon, isang taong makakasama mo sa lahat... ang nakakatakot na part is that binigyan ka din ng bagay na posibleng mawawala sayo."

Hindi umimik si Joven. He just nodded, then sighed. "Alam ko ang pakiramdam. Ganyan din ako nung niligawan ako ni Vicente. Pero walang mali sa pagtake ng risks. It might be one of the greatest decisions na magagawa mo sa buhay mo."

Most of the day, you kept thinking of what could be if you'd say yes to him. No, you're not gonna say yes to him now. You decided to give it three months... no, six... UGH, kalma, kalma lang. Wag kang magmadali, kalma lang. Just go with the flow, ganon.

You walked out of the classroom, and Julian was already waiting for you, both of his hands were hidden behind his back. You smiled at him,and he chuckled. You quickly noticed a tint of red on his cheeks, making him a bit more adorable than he actually is. "Bakit?" You asked.

"Wala," he replied, "Ang ganda ganda mo kasi kapag nakangiti ka."

Ay shutangina, del Pilar. You were quick to hide your face behind your book. "Julian naman eh, nagpapakilig ka eh." You whined, laughing at the end. "Eh, that's what I'm supposed to do. To make you feel special, and beautiful." He then held out what he was hiding behind his back. You looked at it, and it was a red gumamela. The petals were covered with water droplets. "Julian, oh my God."

"Yeah, eto lang muna. Pinitas ko to doon sa bahay na malapit sa dorm ko. Bagong dilig." He explained. You were smiling widely as you gingerly took the flower from his hands. "Baka maubos yung mga gumamela nila, Julian, ha. Pero I really really appreciate this gesture." You laughed, trying to hide the explosion inside your body. First day pa nga lang, pero pakiramdam ko ako na yung pinakaswerteng babae sa mundo.

"Hayaan mo, sa susunod, roses na." He said, taking your book from you. He held out his hand, his palm facing upward. Tinignan mo ito, tapos kay Julian, at balik sa kamay nya. "Alam mo na kung ano ilalagay mo dito." He whispered. SHETSHETSHETSHETSHETSHET.

You placed your hand on top of his, and slowly, your fingers laced together. You swore there were a thousand fireworks exploding all at the same time inside your stomach. You two started to walk through the campus,him holding on to your hand, and you holding on to your flower.

"Julian," You broke the sweetest silence around you, "I don't mind receiving flowers na pinipitas mo lang sa plaza or sa kapitbahay mo, as long as it's from the heart."

Julian smiled at you, and he kissed your hand. "I know..."

Araw-araw, walang palya, and ikaw, araw-araw mo ring pinipigilanang sarili mong matakot.

"Hindi mo pa nga sinagot, natatakot ka na." Remy laughed. Day off n'ya kaya nagkatime s'ya na magvideo chat sa'yo. "Alam mo, okay lang naman na ligawan ka ni Julian. As long as aalagaan ka n'ya."

"Bakit ka naging soft towards kay Julian?" tanong mo sa kanya. "Nakikita ko naman kasi na masaya ka based on what you tell me. Minsan ka lang makakahanap ng lalakeng ganon kagrabe mageffort."

You sighed. "Bakit ka nga ba natatakot? Natatakot ka ba na baka hindi ka nya magustuhan? Ay nako, alam mo, 'wag mo yang katakutan kasi umpisa pa lang, magbestfriends na kayo! Kilalang kilala ka na n'yan. Just go with the flow, and let yourself enjoy it, and when you feel like the time is right, then say yes."

"I miss you, Remy. Uwi ka na."

"Malapit na... apat na buwan na lang..."

"Anong gusto mong gift?"

You looked up from your notes, and you see a smiling Julian. "Ikaw, anong gusto mo?" you asked. Julian looked up, as if thinking. "Well, ikaw gusto ko." Your eyes widen, and your face turned red. "Julian, ang corny ha." You said, while scrambling to hide your face behind your notes. "Asuus, kinikilig ka lang sa banat ko. Ang cute mo kapag kinikilig."

You groaned. Julian took your notes away from you. "Gusto kong makita mukha mo."

"Kahit na namumula?"

"Kahit green pa 'yan, gusto ko pa ring makita mukha mo."

"Julian naman eh!"

"Gustong gusto kita. Sana'y wag kang magtaka kung totoo talaga ang nararamdaman ko sa'yo."

Your breath hitched with every word he said. "Jules..."

He took your hands and drew the closer to his lips. "I will make you happy everyday. At hinding hindi kita iiwanan. Pangako."

"What did I do to deserve you, Julian?"
