Zyre
"So...Nyco, tell me about yourself," I asked, smiling sweetly at the brunette.
He looked up at me from the book he had been reading, raising an eyebrow at me, "Well, I hate it when people interrupt me while I'm reading."
I chuckled at that, "Right, sorry. I just want to get to know everyone here and you're the only person I haven't really talked to that much."
He let out a sigh before closing his book and setting it off to the side, "Well, I guess I'd like to know a bit more about you. You are the new guy around here."
"Shoot."
"Why were you alone?" he asked, looking directly into my eyes with his pretty violet ones.
I don't know why, but having Nyco make direct eye contact with me made me uncomfortable, "I had no one to stay with, so, I decided to try and make it on my own."
"Did you have any siblings?" he questioned, frowning lightly.
"I did...I had a little sister and an older brother," I replied, "What about you?"
He shrugged, looking away from me, "I was an only child, but I had a b-friend that was like family to me."
"Oh..." I murmured, "What was their name?"
Nyco's face went pink before he shook his head and stood up, "I just remembered that I have something I need to do."
As he started to walk away I smirked, "Or someone. And he's over here!"
Just before the brunette managed to escape from the room, I swore that his face flushed even darker.
The pink haired girl, Melo, looked at me curiously before walking over and taking a seat next to me, "I think that's the most emotion I've ever seen out of him."
I perked up slightly at that, "Really?"
"Mhm," she hummed, nodding once, "Tell me something......do you like Nyco?"
"Like?" I questioned, taking a moment before shaking my head, "No. I'm just really flirty around cute guys. Plus, he's kinda cute when he blushes."
She rose her eyebrows at that.
I stared back at her with a sheepish smile, "What? I'm allowed to admit when someone's attractive. You're attractive....everyone here is, but that doesn't mean I'd date any of you given the chance."
She shrugged, "I guess that's true, but I'd like to think that you two would make a cute couple."
I felt my face go warm, "What?! No! No, just no. I'm not looking for anything serious...or anything in general. I'm not into relationships."
She hummed, narrowing her eyes at me, "Tell me that when you do actually fall in love."
"Not likely," I said with a scoff.

"Okay," Drax said as he watched Nyco walk out of the room right after seeing me, "That's weird."
"Why?" I asked, pursing my lips.
"Nyco walked out the room as he saw you...and he blushed," he stated, squinting his eyes at me, "He's never like that. What did you do to him?"
I tensed slightly, shaking my head, "I did nothing. Unless you count being my flirty self doing something to anyone."
"Ah," he mumbled, "That makes much more sense. I'm pretty sure that Nyco's not used to being flirted with...like, at all. I'm not even sure he's ever been with someone before, but we were all kinda young when everything just turned to shit."
"Yeah...I guess," I said, "You know, when I was talking to him earlier...it kinda sounded like he almost slipped up with what he was saying."
"Oh, really?" Drax asked, smiling wickedly, "That's...different."
"What?"
The boy shrugged, "Well, Nyco's always been really cold. He's never been a lovey-dovey guy."
"Oh, what a surprise," I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes, "Never would've guessed it."
"I mean, Nix has told me that when he first met him, that Nyco was a bit of a mess," the boy said, smiling lightly as his face turned a light pink, "he said that Nyco was really depressed. He thinks that it was because of the epidemic going around, but I think that he just lost someone he cared about quite a bit."
I hummed lightly, "I can understand that. I was like that in the beginning...it's hard to lose the people closest to you and not being able to do anything about it."
He smiled understandingly, "It is...I'm just glad to have my sister, you know?"
I nodded, "I wish I still had my brother. Not my sister, though, she was an absolute bitch at eleven....I'd hate to see her as an adult."
He laughed at that, "Sibling rivalries to their best."
"You could say that again."
