It was another day in the world of Fire emblem; Conquest, everyone was in the astral plane realm they stay when they aren't fighting or ect.
It was a peaceful day...the sky was pale-ish purple with a hint of blue in it. small clouds would be passing by every once in awhile, but the sky was mostly clear.
It was a beautiful day with great weather, and everyone was having a great time today. some were chilling at the mess hall, chowing on some food.
Some, were relaxing their body, mind and souls in the Hot spring. others challenged the Arena. and few were working at shops such as the Staff store, Dusk Armory, Lottery shop, Einherjar shop, smithy, and last but not least - the Accessory shop.
There were countless things everyone could do right now. they could be visiting or part-timing at one of these places. or they could be helping out at the harvest for some food. or they could be up to their duties or chores. or could even be leaving this safe realm into nohr or a nearby town.
The possibilities are endless.
Kaze had a basket of radishes in his arms, wearing a furrowed eyebrow filled with confusion. why does the girls he helps in town give him so many things? they are always giving him radishes, food, other sort items, they squeal or scream, starts hugging him if he speaks even a single word....Kaze did not quite understand why.
But then, that's when he remembers. Corrin and Kaze recently had a talk about this subject and she told him it was simply because he was, "Quite popular with the Ladies."
Kaze wished that the time Corrin told him this, that she wouldn't have added on things she's heard the woman say in town such as, "That sorrowful look on Kaze's gorgeous face is waaay too dreamy!"
"popular.....with the ladies?" Kaze mutters the words Corrin spoke to him in slight confusion and once he finds a place to sit the basket of radishes down, he face palms himself, sighs, and his face grows red.
He does not wish to distract himself from his important duties but instead, with woman. that's the last thing setting on his mind. after all, they are in a middle of a war now. there is no time to be distracted by little things such as romance.
Kaze, with his ninja senses, quickly hides behind a wall nearby and he see's that it was only Corrin and Azura on a little stroll.
"Oh....it's just them." Kaze sighs in relief.
"Really, dude? weir in this safe realm! S-A-F-E! meaning no baddies are gonna just come out and kill us, dummy!" points out Hayato, who was randomly passing by.
"Oh....that is quite right. my bad." Kaze comes out of the shadows.
"It must be hard on you, Azura. I mean....you've lived in Hoshido for most of your life. but are you sure about this? I mean, if you stay that means you'll have to live with betraying those who you were close with in Hoshido."
"I told you plenty of times, Corrin. I understand and I want to stay here, by your side. I want to fight for the same cause to bring peace to both sides. I've made my choice. and I shall die with no regrets." Azura replies to what Corrins says.
"I see....I will do the same."
The two smiles at each other as they walk on.
Kaze doesn't mean to be listening on with Corrin and Azura's conversation without them knowing, but out of curiosity, he would follow them during their stroll as they walked down the dirt-sidewalk.
"So....you and I are the only ones who have had to turn their backs on Hoshido, am I correct?" asks Azura out of curiosity.
"Yes, that's right. nobody else but us."
Kaze stops in his tracks and watched as the two walked farther and farther away till he lost sight of them.
"But....Lady Corrin, how could you forget?" questions Kaze with a almost hurt expression that grew on his face.
How could Corrin forget that after the battle at Notre Sagesse, after hearing the true reason Corrin went back to Nohr and didn't betray Hoshido but wanted to change Nohr from within and still bring peace to both sides, Kaze decided to join Corrin on her quest for peace.
But doing that, meant Kaze would have to betray all those he held dear and loved back home in Hoshido. including his twin brother, Saizo. he has already had to turn his blade on him once in battle. he doesn't wish to be forced to do such a thing again, but this was the path he has chosen. even if it's filled with heartache....
"But....how could Lady Corrin forget...?" Kaze quietly mumbled.
"Kaze, is something wrong?" came a worried voice.
Kaze turned to see Princess Elise, Corrin's younger sister standing besides him with furrowed eyebrows of her own.
Kaze simply smiles at her and replies,
"Nothing Lady Elise. nothing you need to trouble yourself with. can I help you with anything?"

The sun was going down....it was meeting with the edge of the earth by now. the sky slowly grew dark and soon after, the stars, one after one, would begin to glitter in the deep and dark, night sky.
Corrin would yawn and she climbed her ladder up into her Private quarters, which consisted inside a tree, and once she entered, took another yawn, and started to walk over to her bed.
"I'm so sleepy and tired! can't wait to get my beauty rest...." she says.
Right before she could even lay even one small finger on her bed or blankets....
"Lady Corrin."
Corrin immediately jumps in a start, nearly squeals or screams, and when she swiftly turned around....
"K-Kaze! you scared me! geez, Ninja can be sneaky sometimes. but that aside, what is it you want at this hour?"
"My apologies, my lady. It's just....there's something that's troubling me."
"Troubling you? what is it?"
"Earlier, forgive me for listening on this conversation, but I overheard you say to Azura that you and her are the only ones with a burden with leaving Hoshido behind...."
After a moment Corrin gasp.
"Oh my gosh, I do recall that-! I-I'm SO sorry, Kaze! I-I didn't mean to forget you or anything, I swear! I....ugh, saying I'm just rather sleepy or tired today is simply no of a good excuse either...."
"Lady Corrin, it is quite alright. I just wanted to make sure....well, you still remembered is all. I'll be on my way now. sorry for disturbing you."
"No, really Kaze, it's alright. I'm so sorry for--"
Before Corrin knew it, Kaze was gone in a flash.
"Gone just like that....ninja are so cool. but, that aside, how could I completely forget Kaze like that? what's wrong with me? and....worst of all, he overheard that too. I hope I didn't hurt him..."
