It was another day in the deep realm of Hoshido. It was a rather normal day, really.
Some trained, some shopped, some ate, some talked, some discussed ideas that could be put into play in the following battle...
Today rather than engulfing herself in her worries, she paid a visit to the Accessory Shop and bought a few things.
"Those flowers will look so beautiful on you, sister!" Smiled Sakura.
"Thank you, Sister." Corrin returned a smile before taking her leave.
Actually, these flowers weren't for her. Actually one was for her. But the other was for somebody else entirely.
The person she had in mind of gifting the other flower accessory for besides her own self... was Kaze.
"Kaze! Kaze, where are you?" Corrin called out, what felt to be in vain as she walked about in the courtyard.
It felt nearly impossible to find any of the Ninja's here in the Deep Realm. Or anywhere, in a matter in fact.
Ninja's are so silent and sneaky... they were as difficult as it is to seek out a ghost.
But as soon as Corrin was about to give up, that was when the ninja finally revealed himself.
"Lady Corrin, do you need something?" Kaze hopped out of nowhere. Likely a tree, close by.
"O-Oh my gosh Kaze--! You scared me!!" Gasped Corrin as she pressed a hand against her pounding chest. She feared it might oeap on out.
"My apologies, my lady. That was not my intention. Please forgive me!" Bowed Kaze on one knee, his face low to the grass.
"K-Kaze... bowing is not necessary. I forgive you." Corrin simply says.
"Then I'm glad." Kaze smiled as he let out a small sigh of relief before standing up on his two feet.
"So... do you need me for something?" Asked the ninja, wondering as to why she was summoning his presence.
"I bought you something!" Starts Corrin excitedly. "Hm?" The Ninja becomes curious as to what the gift could possibly be.
Nobody ever gifts Kaze gifts. Gifts were usually something out of the norm for Kaze.
I mean, sure, his twin brother Saizo has given him gifts for special occasions, normally birthdays only. But usually the gift was just plain weapons meant for killing enemies.
Kaze once asked Saizo what it was for, and Saizo treated Kaze like a fool for not knowing.
Saizo explained, saying that if he was never prepared to fight even during times or places of peace, he would never become a retainer.
And sure, the woman in the Hoshido village always gifts him plenty of things... normally radishes, but it wasn't anything special. Nothing too significant.
Especially since they gift him the way things as often as he walks the kingdom's streets.
So Kaze was curious as to what this gift would be. After all, this is the first time Corrin would be gifting him anything.
What will it be? Weapons? Radishes?... Or could it be something different? Something... new?
Corrin opens up her closed up hands to reveal a beautiful flower. Kaze stared, mainly in adaze.
A... flower? Nobody has gifted his thus before. What use could Corrin possibly want Kaze to have these for...?
"Lady Corrin... these are... flowers?" Questioned Kaze. "Yes! Flowers!" Beamed Corrin, happily.
"And these flowers... what might their use be?" Kaze questions next.
Having asked the following question, Corrin places the flower into his hair by the side.
"It's an accessory, silly! You are supposed to wear it!" Giggled Corrin.
"An... accessory?" Kaze wasn't exactly certain as to how he should be responding. After all, ain't flowers supposed to be worn by woman only...? Corrin... she hasn't forgotten the Ninja's gender, has she...?
"Now we can match!!" Corrin beams excitedly. It was at that given moment, that Kaze finally understood.
The reason Corrin had gifted him the flower... is so they both could match.
"That's wonderful, my lady." Smiled Kaze while nearly letting out a chuckle.
Seeing Kaze's positive reaction only made Corrin happier. "Okay, let's go!" Corrin without warning or hesitation, takes Kaze's hand into her own and leads him away.
"T-To where, my lady...?"
"You'll see!"
And as to where Corrin decided to take Kaze off to... it was to a beautiful feild of flowers.
And the reason as to why Corrin brought Kaze here... it is because she knows Kaze doesn't always like being swarmed in with crowds of people.
Cause sometimes... it's nice to be alone. And with just each other.
And for once, for Kaze at least, this was the very first gift... that truly held a special meaning.
