It was the next day and Seigburt was currently training with his father. Studying is always good, but both his mother and father wants to help him with growing stronger in battle as well.
Both Seigburt and his father had been training with each other for a while now, now Xander was easily able to tell that something was off with the way Seigburt was fighting....
Suddenly Xander makes a powerful blow, ending up causing Seigburt to crash to the ground and drop his blade.
Seigburt sits up and rubs the back of his head....
"Ouch that hurt...." He mumbles but quietly so his father wouldn't hear.
But his father probably heard.
"Sieburt, what's the matter? Pick up your sword." replies Xander.
.....
Xander then sighs and knows what this is about. Perhaps he should try to have a father and son moment with Seigburt and have a chat with him with what's troubling him.
"Seigburt, what's wrong? Is something troubling you? Stand up."
Seigburt stands up and is quiet for a moment before responding....
"I-it's Alright father, really. It's not really that important to be honest. It's no excuse to be doing so poorly in battle."
"Well, apparently it is. You're doing much poorer than I believe you ever had. Come, tell me what's weighing you down."
Seigburt let's out a big sigh before confessing....
"W-well...t-the truth is....im sorta....well, I kinda have feelings....for Soliel. Erm....special feelings." Siegbert adds on.
"Ah....love. I see."
Xander then takes Seigburt with him and sits on a bench besides him.
"So you like the Lawslows daughter, the one who's attracted to both boys and girls."
"Y-yes...." Responds Seigburt.
"When I fell in love with your mother I had a difficult time with confessing too."
"H-huh?! Really father?" Seigburt burst into surprise.
"Yes. You see, for the longest time, your mother was told that me and my other siblings were her siblings too. But she actually came from Hoshido....she's not related to our royal blood at all."
Xander continues.
"And you see, for the longest time I struggled with my feelings unsure whether to accept what I was feeling or not. But it ended up that Corrin gained feelings for me too, so we ended up together...."
....
....
"Father, please try to explain to me how this even helps?" Seigburt doesn't get the point of how his father's love story relates with his at all.
"W-well, I'm just trying to say that you should think about both yours and Soleil's feelings and think to yourself if you really think it to be wise to confess. After all, once you confess there is no turning back. Remember that she will always remember what you tell her once you act."
"O-ok."
For the rest of the night Seigburt thinks to himself whether this is really what he wants. And what Soliel wants.
Soliel probably likes-likes one of the other girls...it's at least a possibility. But Seigburt decides to just go with it.
If he doesn't tell her, this weight on his chest his never be released.
And he wants to know how Soleil thinks or feels about him too.
Dose she just think of him as a friend...? Or more?
