It was another day in the Astral plane with the Conquest characters.
Xander and Lawslow we're training together, Elise and Camilia we're trying on different accessories at the accessory shop, and everyone was doing their own thing.
Siegbert just got done training with his mother Corrin but sighs out of boredom.
Surely there's something he can do right now?
He thinks and thinks if there is something he can help anyone out with or do.
But suddenly Soleil pops into his head.
He's had a crush on her....for a while now. They're a bit close, but Soleil seems to enjoy the company of the others, especially girls a bit more. or perhaps the word would be....she's more attracted to the girls than to him?
It isn't just Siegbert who's noticed this about Soleil. A lot of the others in the army has noticed. Even her father Lawslow.
She even seems to prefer girls over guys....but that aside, Seigbert cannot help but still feel special feelings for her.
He's hoping to confess his love to her....and for her to feel the same.
But what chances does he have when she's hanging out with the girls? And maybe has a thing for them?
I'm at least going to go and see what she's up to....
Seigburt decides and searches and searches everywhere for her.
And right when he was about to give up....
A loud screeching sound slams into his eardrums, almost causing him to tumble to the ground.
He claps his hands against his ears in protection and shouts,
"W-whats that awful sound?!"
Seigburt glances around while covering his ears and spots some of the other girls from the army covering their ears as well.
Pain from the noise was obviously expressed on their faces....but it appeared that they were trying desperately to hide it.
It was at that moment Seigburt realized what that awful sound was coming from.
It was Soleil singing.....
Solieil might enjoy singing....but sometimes her singing really is awful.
But if she sings whenever her father is around....Lawslow simply hides the fact it hurts his hearing terribly and claps away, saying how amazing her singing is.
Once she was done she asked how the girls liked it.
At first they were all hesitant. But immediately began to applaud and say how amazing her voice was and how they wished they could sing like her.
"Oh, hey there Seigburt. Were you listening to my song too? How'd you like?" Soliel approach Seigburt with a smile.
"Y-you leave us speechless as always." He forces a nervous smile trying to hide the fact of how Terrible he actually thought it was.
"Really? Thanks! It makes me happy singing to everyone in the army. It seems to put everyone in a good mood."
....
"U-um, a-and if you have any time on you Soleil, I'd really like--"
Suddenly Seigburt realized that Soleil was already away from him and was walking off with the girls, chatting away.
Seigburt grumbles a little in a bit of annoyance.
If only she wasn't so interested in the girls more than the boys, he might could have had a chance.
