It was another day in the Astral plane of Hoshido. Most of the army was already woken from their slumber, since sleeping in was not tolerated.
And this was the same for Corrin. Even if Corrin is a royal princess of the fine country of Hoshido, she could not slack around. And she was well aware of this.
Maybe if this wasn't a time of war, she and the rest of her siblings could have the leisure to sleep in for just a couple more minutes. Say 10 or twenty, to the least.
But times of peace were leaving. Nohr wants to go to war with Hoshido. As much as Ryoma hated the very idea, he accepted and within 5 months, the two kingdoms will clash.
Corrin was very unhappy about this and raised kane with her big brother Ryoma, who made the decision.
But protesting against his action to go to war, and instead, try to talk things out and to settle things more peacefully...only enraged Ryoma.
He told Corrin how her idea was naive and no matter what, Nohr is a country of dogs who only knows how to bite; they don't know how to listen.
Corrin tried to convince Ryoma that he was wrong about Nohr, but the argument ended swiftly when Ryoma raised his voice ten times louder, following along with the shout...
"SILENCE!!!"
With that, Corrin listened to the last of what her brother had to say, and as soon as she was dismissed, she made a dart out her brother's meeting room.
Watching Corrin take off, trying to not reveal the tears she's been keeping from sliding out her eyelids, and thus slamming close the door... it pained Ryoma.
But he knew Corrin well, and knows she meant well and she simply wants what's best for both Hoshido and Nohr.
Corrin was kidnapped at a tender young age from the Hoshido family and was trapped in the hands of Nohr's royalty.
Ryoma wished to believe the royal family to be nothing but fowl and vile people, but hearing the way Corrin talked about them... made him realize that his accusations of the people of Nohr to be wrong.
But even so, Ryoma feels that everyone, including him, has gone too far and that it is impossible to turn back.
Not after reaching so far... and especially not after making so many sacrifices to get where they are now.
The last thing Ryoma will ever do... is to give in to Nohr's blood thirst for control and power over the whole continent.
