This story basically continues my fanfic called "Intimidating Jakob". I had a random idea of how I could continue the plot, so that's what I did. Enjoy! If anyone is reading this, that is.
It was another day in the land of Hoshido. Midori and Hisame had just returned from picking herbs in the close by woods. Big smiles were plastered across the children's, having a bunch of fresh and healthy herbs that should help out the army.
Midori and Hisame carried the plucked herbs in full baskets. They returned to camp, and thus entered Corrin's Private Quarters. This Quarter was shared by Corrin, Kaze, and Midori. The only others allowed in his Jakob, Corrin's most excellent butler, and anyone Corrin invites over. But since this was Midori's Quarters as well, she too, was free to invite whomever she wanted whenever she wished it.
The children expected to be alone upon climbing the roped stairs and entering the treehouse. But they weren't. "So it's true!!" Corrin, Midori's daughter, in accusion while standing besides Midori's father, Kaze.
Both Midori and Hisame shrieks and screams before tossing the baskets into the air, in sudden reaction. "You both are dating and never told us, isn't that right?!" Midori's mother Corrin continues to shout while pointing fingers.
"H-Hisame, run!" Cries Midori before grabbing the young samurai's hand and pulling him along in her desperate escape. Hisame knew that Midori's parents learning their little secret probably meant trouble, so he didn't argue of stop Midori. He simply went along.
"Where are we exactly running to?!" Asked Hisame in a rush, as the two ran as quickly as their feet would let them in order to escape from Corrin's claws of break up. "Anywhere outside the camp! Mama will make us break up if she catches us, so we must run away from Hoshido!" Answers Midori quickly, trying to keep her breath.
"O-Outside of Hoshido?! B-But Midori, that's dangerous!" Panics Hisame. "I know, which is why you'll protect me like you always do!" Midori replies with a sweet smile.
"M-Midori..."
The two children ran past a surprised Takumi as they darted out the camp's borders. "H-Hey! Where are you two kids going?! I don't see baskets in either of your hands!" Barks Takumi, honestly worried.
"Dad...you...you didn't tell a certain secrete did you?" Asked Kiragi, clearly suspicious of his father. "O-Of course not!" Smiled Takumi, quite nervously. But just then Corrin was seen rushing beyond the borders, pursuing after Midori and Hisame.
Takumi simply continues to smile a nervous wreck, while earning glares from his son. "DAAAAAAD!!" Groaned Kiragi in annoyance. "L-Look, you know how bad I am with keeping secrets!" Blurts out Takumi, hoping to defend himself.
"Traitor..." Mummbles Kiragi.
When Midori and Hisame was certain they lost Corrin, they stopped in their tracks as they did their best to breathe back the oxygen they had lost. "M-Midori...(Huff) are you sure (Puff) that we should be running away from our family like this? I mean, if we go through with this, we might never see them again." A loud gasp thus escapes from Midori's lips.
"N-Never...?"
"Never."
And that was all it took for Midori to burst out into wails and tears. "M-Midori! P-Please! Stop crying!" Hisame begged. He hated seeing Midori like this. But just then, an idea hit Hisame. After he took a quick moment of both thinking and pondering, Hisame tackles Midori into the grass, putting an end to her cries as a wave of confusion went over the girl.
"H-Hisame? What are you..." Before Midori could even finish asking the question, she suddenly finds herself in a terrible fit of laughter! Hisame begins to burst into laughter and he tries to explain in between laughs...
"I-I couldn't bare to see you cry any longer, s-so...pft, I made us fall into a pile of...ha, ha, ha...l-laughing...pft, mushrooms. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!"
The two children continue to burst into laughter together as they laid in the grass with smashed laughing mushrooms. Corrin heard the children's laughs. At first she thought something was wrong so she hurried over to where she heard the voices.
But luckily, nothing was wrong. Corrin was able to catch the two right before the mushroom's laughing effects would wear off. A smile curled itself over Corrin's lips, seeing the precious children laughing together. Pure happiness was written on their faces as clear as dawn itself.
Once the two calmed down and managed to sit themselves up from the grass, Corrin placed a hand on each of their shoulders, earning a jolt and a shudder from them both.
"Come on kids, it can be dangerous out here when your not herb-hunting. Let's go back to the camp, alright?" Smiled Corrin. But what happened next, completely surprised and shocked her.
"N-NOOOOOO!!! I don't wanna go back! I-If we go back, you'll make me and Hisame break uuuuup!!" Cried and wailed Midori as she clung herself to Hisame, with no intentions of letting go.
"W-What? Of course I wouldn't make you both break up!" Responds Corrin. "H-Huh?" Both children were frozen in confusion. "How can I make you both break up when your so cute together?" Corrin beams brightly.
"H-Huh? B-But...what happened to the Corrin that was trying to kill us moments ago?!" Blurts out Hisame. "Oh, that. I was just wanting answers as to why neither of you told me that you love birds were dating! Sorry if I scared you." Chuckled Corrin sheepishly.
"D-Don't ever scare us like that again, mama!" Pouts Midori. "And how exactly did you find out about us...?" Hisame was curious and wanted to learn how Corrin knew that he and Midori had become a secret couple.
"Oh, that. Takumi told me." Corrin answers truthfully. "And who told Takumi?" Hisame asked next. "Kiragi." Corrin answered quite plainly. Both Midori and Hisame both took a gigantic gasp before screaming out in the heavens in anger...
Both Hisame and Kiragi shouted separately at the pineapple prince's son. "I-I'm sorry, please! Have mercy!"Cries out Kiragi while fearing for his life. "You ratted us out!!!" Both Hisame and Midori shouted insync.
"I-I couldn't help it! Dad mentioned how he shipped you both, so I had to tell him how you both are cannon! Sigh, I wished parents could keep secrets. B-But please, forgive me."
