Joann's POV
I knew it! I knew we should have never got involved.
Me: Rocky, start the engine! We have to follow the ambulance!
Rocky: One step ahead of you!
He ran to the car and started the engine.
We all piled into the van to follow the ambulance. Riker called his parents, Ryland and Ricky fell asleep and Kayla curled up in a ball and sobbed in the back seat.
Me: This is all my fault! All my fucking fault!
Ratliff: You're right.
Rydel: Shut up El! Joann, it's not your-
Me: YES IT IS! If I had just rode with you guys I would have never seen-
Rocky: Joann! Shut up! It's not your fucking fault! Did you kidnap Belle? Did you shoot Ross?! Huh? Did you?!
Me: *sobbing* Oh my God, Oh my God, oh my God, I feel sick!
Ratliff: Joann! Stop overreacting! We aren't sugarcoating anything! When we say it's not your fault, believe us!
Rydel: Just calm down, everything is going to be fine!
Me: What if it's not?! *sobbing* You guys just always think of the good side, but what if something bad were to happen!?
Rocky: Jo! Remember how Kayla got in the fire incident?! Wasn't she okay? Huh? Just leave it up to him! He will get better with time!
Me: *calming down* okay.
We get to the hospital and I run to the receptionist.
Receptionist: What brings you here tonight?
Me: My friend just got shot!
Receptionist: I see. So what would you like me to do?
Rocky: We want to know where he is!
Receptionist: Well, when did he get shot.
Me: 15 minutes ago!
Receptionist: Well, I don't think--
Me: His name is Ross Lynch! Please tell us some info! Anything!
Kayla: *running through the door* Joann! Where is he?! Did you get any info?
Me: Not yet!
Receptionist: He was emitted to the OR about 5 minutes ago.
Me: So what's wrong?! Is he okay?
Receptionist: I am not a nurse nor a doctor, so unfortunately I do not carry that information. Just have a seat guys.
We sat down for an hour...
then two
then three
Then the nurse walked out of the room.
