Jackie's dressing room
Jackie was in her dressing room. She opened the box and held the pink Chanel suit. Visions of Jack being shot in the back and her pulling him down. The words, he got out before slipping in and out of conciousness. She looked at the suit. Then she looked at her; now red, gore soaked gloves and the pink hat which only had minor damage. Then there was her shoes and bag. They weren't damaged except for a few bits of blood on the sole.
She asked her maid to get them washed for her. Suddenly she heard: "Jackie?".
Jackie's bedroom
Jackie walked next door to her room and saw Jack standing there. She went forward and hugged him. He kissed her lips passionately before her felt her baby bump again. "Baby Kennedy is growing fast" he beamed with pride. Jackie, giggled and blushed before putting her hand on his. "Listen, I'm sorry for last night. You know, waking you up at 4am" Jack apologised.
Jackie kissed his cheek. "Oh it's ok. Besides I'm pregnant, I'll need to get used to it" Jackie joked. This made Jack laugh. They sat on the edge of Jackie's bed and talked. "Jackie, what were you and Ethel doing upstairs at Hickory Hill yesterday?" Jack asked. Jackie didn't have the bravery to tell him, in case and it probably would, waste this entire, happy moment.
However she braced herself and told him. "I didn't go to the bathroom. I went into Arabella's room" Jackie looked at her husband. She could see the word 'Arabella' had punchured a hole in his heart. She hugged him and she saw a tear run down his cheek. "It's ok" Jackie assured him and handed him a handkerchief.
Jack dried his eyes before he asked her; "What's it's like?".
"They've kept the way we had it" Jackie this time cried.
"What with the teddy bear wallpaper?". Jackie nodded. "And the little white cot?". Jackie nodded again. "And with the white bed covers with the brown teddy bears embroidered on that mom made?". Jackie nodded a final time. "Yes it's all the same. And the piano and the music book. Everything" Jackie kissed her husband again.
"God I love you" Jack sobbed and he held Jackie in his arms. They kissed again and again before falling sideways onto the bed.
