Jackie's bedroom
She was now 9 months pregnant but she could still stand up. Jackie tried to get out of bed. "Oh" she said to herself. "Oh! Oh! Oh! I can do it! I can do it!" She said with determination. She remained in her position until collapsing back onto the bed again. It was official, the First Lady couldn't even get out of bed.
"JACK!" Jackie shouted. She heard footsteps off in the distance before Jack came through the door and helped his wife out of bed. "Thanks bunny" Jackie smiled. Jack kissed her. "No problem kid. At least the twins are okay" Jack rubbed her stomach. Jackie placed her hand on her husband's hand which was rubbing her stomach gently.
They felt the babies kicking. Everytime, they did, the First Couple burst with pride.
6pm
Yellow Oval Room
Jack returned from the Oval to find Jackie watching TV in the living room. She tried to get to her feet as soon as he came in the door but instead, he rushed over to help her up. "There you go" Jack said as Jackie wrapped her arms around him and hugged him. "Hey bunny" Jackie smiled, just before they kissed.
"How was it today?"
Jack took off his clothes and sat down. "Oh it was fine. I couldn't stop about my beautiful wife" Jack gazed at Jackie as he stroked her cheek. "And the fact that she wasn't miles away. She was just upstairs" Jackie smiled so much, she started laughing out of joy. She immediately grabbed Jack and kissed him passionately.
She once again, felt him rubbing her stomach. She sat back and watched Jack feel her now double-sized stomach. It was larger than it had ever been before.
Then Jack did something that Jackie thought was extremely touching but adorable. He leaned forward and placed his head just above the bump. He whispered to her stomach, like he was talking to the children. "Just be safe. Be strong" He whispered. He then sat back up and kissed his darling wife.
This really was a moment for them worth remembering.
