Oval Office

1pm

When Jack got back from the CBS Headquarters, Kennedy approached him. "Sir, the Attorney General is here to see you". Jack sighed from disappointment. "Where is he?" Jack asked, pushing his hair off his face. "I told him to wait out the Oval Office for you".

Jack entered the Oval and Bobby was there. "Bobby make this quick, I need to get back upstairs" Jack said, sitting at the desk. "What?! Why?" Bobby stood up shocked and worried. "Well..." Jack paused. "Jackie's pregnant".

Bobby sat. He didn't know how to react. Smile? Cry? Hug his brother? He was speechless. He just stood up and hugged him. "CONGRATS BRO!" Bobby joked. He jumped like a kid and they cheered. "My God, I'm going to be an uncle to what's that? The millionth time!" Bobby joked. Jack laughed. "Yeah mom and dad had to have 9 kids!".

West Sitting Hall

Jackie decided to spend the afternoon in the West Sitting Hall, reading. The sun shone brightly through the Tiffany window, from outside. She sat and read Profiles in Courage; she was honoured that Jack had dedicated it to her, all those years ago. Suddenly she heard Jack coming upstairs. She placed her book down and ran to him on her dainty, little feet.

"Oh Jack" they hugged. She helped him take off his jacket and into something comfier. He joined her. "I missed you today" Jack embraced her and kissed her cheek. "I missed you too. I spoke with Dr Travell and she said, I will need to go for my first scan on 29th March, when I'm 12 weeks" Jackie beamed. She was very proud.

Jack was proud too. "Oh that's good. I might not be able to make it though" Jack's face fell sad. "Well that's ok" Jackie tried to reassure him. "At least you're still here" Jackie made him feel better. "It's not ok Jackie. I am hardly there for you" Jack began to cry. Jackie dried his tears. "Jack you've always been there for me. Sometimes not physically but whenever I think of you, you are with me" Jackie made him smile.

He kissed her. "I love you Jackie" Jack stroked her cheek. "I love you too Jack".
