Chapter 25

Hyannis Port beach

Twins? Jack couldn't believe his ears. "Twins?" He grinned. Jackie nodded. "Yes, twins" they giggled before kissing passionately. "My God, twins!" Jack cried this time. He kissed Jackie more than he ever had before.

Jackie had the scan in her clutch bag which she brought out with her. Jackie pointed out the 2nd baby on the scan. "Look, there's the head" she beamed as Jack gazed before kissing her.

They got to their feet before Jack lifted her off her feet and spun her around. Jackie laughed with happiness. "I've never been so happy" Jack stroked her cheek. Jackie put a finger over his lips. "Remember don't tell anyone". Jack promised.

Main House

Dining Room

The loved up couple returned to the table after a quick run to the bathroom as Jack needed to remove the lipstick from his face.

They sat down and resumed their positions. "What took you so long?" Bobby asked with a giggle. Jack blushed. How could he respond to that? He promised Jackie he wouldn't say anything. "Erm..." Jack thought.

"Jackie needed to tell me something private" Jack nodded to which Bobby was fine with and was silenced. Soon Jackie excused herself and Jack again.

"Should we tell them?" Jackie asked as she clutched her husband's hands. "About what?"

"You know!"

Jack laughed and nodded. "Okay then". They went in like nothing had happened. Before long, the mingling died down and they decided now was the time.

Jack stood up. Everyone looked. "Well everyone, there is something Jackie and I wish to say". Jackie stood up and she felt Jack's firm hand on her waist.

"Well as you know Jackie is pregnant. Well we're having twins". The room turned into an uproar of happiness. Jack was taken to one side to be with the boys and the girls went to another.

The men had a drink while Jackie showed off her scan and pointed out the second baby. She was the all-American proud mother.
