Jackie's bedroom
Jack zipped up Jackie's dress before kissing her shoulder. He nuzzled at her neck. She moaned. "Oh Mr President, can't this wait until after the dinner?" Jackie joked wrapping her arms around him. Jack laughed. "No it can't. You looked to beautiful at the inauguration today" Jack smiled, as Jackie blushed.
The small inauguration wasn't a public occassion. Teddy was sworn in, in the Cabinet Room with family and close members of the Cabinet in presence. Jackie wore the blue suit she wore in Vienna and Jack was drooling like a puppy when she stepped into the room that morning.
However for the ball, she was wearing one of her favourites; her mauve evening gown. She had her hair just naturally down but it was tidy. She and Jack walked downstairs, arm and arm, sharing a kiss before stepping out into the public.
Blue Room
It was about midnight and after the state dinner to celebrate the inauguration, the Kennedy brothers with their wives, gathered in the blue room for a celebratory, private drink. Jackie of course who is a month pregnant had water. But the second the glasses clinked and they cried "Cheers!", they knew something good would happen.
