White House
Jack and Jackie came back from Newport early that morning. It had been pretty boring for Jackie on the last day. She was upset. Jack insisted she go riding but she was scared in case she hurt the coming twins. However, she and Jack got plenty of time to rest and talk in their room. While they were there, they made one thing clear.
They promised, they wouldn't announce the sex of the baby until after it was born.
Jackie's bedroom
Jack came in to find Jackie sitting on the sofa, with a pen between her teeth and she was thinking.
"Kid?" Jack asked, coming closer.
Jackie was oblivious.
"Kid?"
It wasn't until he was sitting next to her that she finally responded. "Oh! Jack" Jackie smiled before pecking a kiss on his lips.
"What was it kid?"
"What was what?"
"What were you thinking?"
Jackie sat back down. "Oh I was thinking about Otis" Jackie said. Jack looked confused. "What about Otis?". Jackie was ready to say what she had, had on her mind for days.
"Jack I was wondering if that if we could go to the Cape near my due date in October and I could have the babies at Otis?" Jackie suggested.
Jack thought. He knew Jackie loved the service Otis provided when she had Patrick. It was private compared to George Washington. He agreed.
"Sure. Go to Otis" Jack wrapped his arm around her. "As long as the babies are safe". He then, much to her delight, pulled her in for a tender kiss.
