Once I got out of rehearsal, my phone rang. I see that it's Lacey calling.

"Hello?" I answer the phone.

"Can you come over? I'm alone right now." I wasn't sure exactly what was wrong, but I knew that at times we all just needed someone to talk to.

"Yea, sure. I'll be there in 10 minutes." I make my way out of the studio to see Derek waiting for me in his car. I decided to have Derek come pick me up from some of my rehearsals since my mom had work at times and I still couldn't fully drive yet.

"Hey, is it okay if you drive me to Lacey's house instead of mine?" He nods his head.

"Sure." He says and before I know it, we are almost at Lacey's house.

We eventually pull up to Lacey's house and I thank him before exiting the car. Since Lacey and I didn't live too far from one another, I knew that I could simply walk to my place afterward.

"Hey!" I greet her with a hug and then walk into the house. Lacey decides to grab a few snacks as we both make our way up to her room to chill and talk.

She caught me up on everything that had been happening for the past couple of days.

"Whoa, so you mean to tell me you and Dylan made out 3 times including the time that he kissed you to make Mali jealous?" I ask to confirm while almost jumping up and down. The drama in her life was too real.

"Yeah, but he has a girlfriend." Lacey tries to explain to me as if I already don't know.

"And she's my sister." I roll my eyes when she adds that. This girl was so humble and nice at times, that I just wanted for her to punch her sister already. We all knew that Mali was a terrible human being.

"Screw your sister. I don't why you care if you hurt your sisters' feelings. I'm pretty sure she's dished you a million times." I scoff while shaking my head causing Lacey to laugh a little.

"I don't know. I just don't want to steal her boyfriend away from her. Then I'll be viewed as a slut."She says while picking at something on her sheets. I could tell that she truly felt bad about this and I shake my head.

"Start thinking about yourself for once. You're always wondering about other people. Worry about yourself." I reassure her.

"I do and I'm just saying that I'm not going to play with fire. He's Mali's boyfriend and that's the way it should stay." She gives me a firm look.

Absolute bullshit.

"You're a lost cause, Lacey. Why can't you be more outgoing?!" I whine playfully to loosen up the mood because it was beginning to get a little too serious up in here. She pushes me back ad I fall off of her bed with a laugh.

"Because I don't want to be. I'm fine with my boring personality." She says and I couldn't disagree any more. She was far from boring, she just always thought that she was.

Poor girl.

I finally sit back on her bed while giving her a playful glare. I guess if she wanted to pretend to be more clueless, then I would have to let her. We all often deny our feelings when they become too strong.
