Sophie's Pov.

~6 months later~

Graduation consisted of me crying my eyes out. I remember the pure joy that I had to be not only graduating, but to be my class's valedictorian. I had stood tall and delivered my speech as well as I could without crying.

When taking pictures with everyone is when the real crying began. High school was a whole journey that consisted of highs and lows. However, what really broke my heart was having to say goodbye to my best friends. They each brought happiness to my days and I wasn't ready to be apart from them for so long.

Of course, we had promised to all meet up with one another once college started. I had gotten into Julliard and when I had found out that I had gotten in, I was jumping up and down on Eli's bed as he laughed at my excitement.

Now, I was currently sitting on my bed while kissing the death out of Lacey's baby. Lacey and Dylan had gotten married at such a young age, but she wanted to marry him before she could have the baby.

This baby had good genes because she was too cute.

"Sophie, you're scaring poor Kristen," Lacey says and I rub noses with the baby and she hiccups.

"Aw! She's just so adorable." I say in a higher pitched voice. Megan eyes Lacey and says,

"You better keep an eye on Sophie. She just might steal your baby." I look away from the baby to give stick my tongue out at her. The baby copies me and sticks her tongue out too.

"Lacey you are such a blessed mother to have such an adorable child," I say and hand the baby back over to Lacey carefully. The baby was dressed in a cute pink onesie that I had gifted Lacey at the time of her pregnancy.

Later, Megan had the idea to buy Lacey an adult pink onesie to match her baby.

The baby kicks in Lacey's arms and wraps her small hand around Lacey's index finger.

"Thank you. She can be a pain sometimes though. She always tries to bite my nipple when I'm trying to breastfeed her." Lacey shakes her head and Megan snickers.

"She's a feisty one," Megan says.

"I see that she probably gets that from Dylan," Lacey continues to rock the baby gently.

"So where is he taking you to for dinner?" Megan asks me.

"I'm not sure. He says that it's a surprise." I say. As much as I loved surprises, I was more nervous about this date for some reason.
