A few days later

I woke up early and went to ihop to grab breakfast for Cookie and Naelean. I was texting Kevin when a lady bumped into me. I looked up at her.

"Martha?"

"Rihmeek." She said smiling before biting her lip. She rested her arm on my shoulder like it was something normal.

"Whatchu doing around here?" I said moving her arm.

"Business." She said smirking, shifting her weight to her other foot. My receipt number was called so I grabbed the food and turned back to Martha.

"Aight I'll see you around." I said but she grabbed my arm before I could turn away and leave.

"Maybe we can hang out again. Like last week." She said giving me a seductive look.

"Last week?" Ion remember hanging with Martha.

"Yeah remember." She said laughing lightly.

"Nah I'm good." I pushed her hand off and walked out the restaurant.

When I got home everyone was still sleeping so I put the food in the refrigerator and went upstairs. I scrolled through my emails answering some before I drifted off to sleep.

"Daddy the baby keeps crying and mommy is sleeping." Naelean said coming in the guest room I was sleeping in, frowning.

I sighed and got up. Jomei's room was almost done it would be in about two more days. I went to my room and went straight to little nigga.

"Whatchu want my nigga." I asked him and picking him up. He screamed at the top of his lung and Cookie groaned.

"He's hungry Meek." She said with a raspy voice while buried under the covers.

"Ard shut up lil nigga."I said walking out of the room with him. I walked downstairs to make him a bottle.

After I was done making it I went back upstairs to my room to find Naelean sprawled out on the bed asleep. I chuckled and sat in the other side to feed Jomei. He drunk out of the bottle with quickness.

I stared at him, analyzing him and his features. Everyone said he looked like me but all I could see was Nicole. He had her eyes, her smile and her nose. It was like staring at a boy version of Nicole.

Sometimes I couldn't help but think that he was the reason Nicole wasn't here and it angered me. That's part of the reason I wasn't   paying much attention to him in the beginning.

Cookie

I woke up at 3:45pm which had me a little suspicious. How was I able to sleep this long especially without being interrupted by Naelean or Jomei.

I looked over to Jomei's crib to see it was empty. I got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom feeling the urge to pee.

After that I stared at myself in the mirror. I lifted up my shirt to stare at the side of my body. I placed my hand on my one month growing stomach. It was hard and not yet noticeable.

I rubbed it and sighed. So far this pregnancy wasn't going so well but I promise the few months will be stress free. I was only a month and that's already a red flag. Anything could hurt my baby.

I took a shower, put on all my necessities then grabbed my purse along with phone. I had made plans with Meeks sister Na at 4:30pm. Kim would be picking me up at 4.

I decided to let go of whatever issues we had in the pass. I was having her brother's baby and I wanted my baby to know his or her aunt. We would run into each other anyways so why not patch up our little problem.
