"Im her mother!" I spoke eager to the doctor. He smiled but it was a sympathetic smile.

"Onika Maraj?" I nodded hastily.

"Ok well Naelean was not hit by a bullet the way you may think but she was in fact grazed by one twice. She was grazed on her right arm then on her left side of her stomach which caused a lot of bleeding. She lost a lot of blood for a 6 year old and she may have started hypvenalate which led to her to faint. We were able to sustain the bleeding and patch her up but she won't be able to do much lifting till she's fully healed, we don't want the stitches popping." I closed my eyes and thanked god. I heard Kim whisper 'Thank you jesus'.

"Is she awake? Can I go see her?" I said with relief. At this very moment I didn't care about anything but seeing how my daughter was doing. I thought I lost my child, my first born, one of the people I go all out for and it would have been while in my supervision which made me feel like I was a failure of a mother.

"Yes you can but just family." Kim huffed and I noticed Meek was just a few feets away but he started walking closer.

"She's my sister." I said gesturing at Kim.

"As for him?" He asked adjusting his glasses as he looked at something behind me. I turned around to find out that something was Rihmeek. I immediately shook my head.

"I don't know him." I said to the doctor but I was staring into Meeks eyes.

"Well then let's go. I'll take you to her room." I took Caia from Kim and we followed the doctor leaving Meek in the waiting room humiliated.

"Aunty Kim!" I heard Naeleans voice and it made me feel even guiltier. I couldn't go in so Kim went in and I stayed outside with my back to the wall.

"I wish I could've brought you something but how are you feeling?"

"Good! It's a nice hotel." My heart shattered. She was so innocent.

"Aw you think you're at a hotel?" Kim asked with a pound of sympathy in her voice. There was silence for a while till Naelean spoke up.

"No this a hos-hospi-tal. I like to pretend." She stuttered a little. "Where's mommy, daddy and my sister and brother?" Caia started talking in her baby language and hitting me.

"I know you not hitting me little girl. I have the upper hand, I'll drop you right now." I joked as if she understood me.

"Mommy!" I exhaled and walked in the room.

"Caca!" Kim laughed and I glared at her. As I walked closer Caia started to reach out for Naelean.

"Mommy look." She said trying to pull herself up. I went to her and fixed her bed making her go in a sitting position. She put her arm sling up showing it to me proudly.

"Wow." I said faking my enthusiasm when really I was hurt she was in this position.

"Can I hold Caca?" She asked and Kim snickered like the immature 4 year old adult she is.

"No I don't want her hurting you." She pouted.

"Please? I promise she won't hurt me. Please mommy?" her pout deepened when she realize I wasn't going to change my decision. But seeing that look on her face made me want to give in.

"No" I said making her mumble and cross her arms. I stared down at Naelean finally noticing she was hooked to machines. I don't understand if it was just a graze why is all of this necessary.

"I'm sorry mama." I said bending and kissing her forehead. She looked a bit confused but still frowned.

"Ok now let's pray." I said holding my arm out for Kim to hold my hand.
