Chapter 33

Recap: Embry wrapped his arms around me and a leg hiked around me as he pushed his head into my neck. My life felt good for that moment in time. But I had no idea what was coming my way.

The weeks passed quite quickly as if the world went into fast speed in a peaceful feeling. The air felt relieved as if the weight of the world had been removed. Secrets seemed to be nonexistent except the only one knowing my history being Embry. Onyx's training went so well and Serenity always smiled.

She let me meet her animal she was training. The Clydesdale was beautiful and very friendly and enjoyed being pet and groomed. Onyx had no idea what to do with it, at first he barked at it before trying to run away before finally stopping. I was just waiting in line for my food when Jessica and Michael came up behind me as I crossed my arms across my chest desperate to get out of the line. Those two made me uncomfortable and uneasy, and desperate to leave here as fast as I could. "Did you hear about the party?" Jessica asked Michael.

"No." Michael answered. "Well there is a party this weekend, it's at the warehouse, it's supposed to be one of those underground parties. I hear Victor's little group is planning on going." Jessica said as the line moved forward. They were completely oblivious to me behind them. The lines moved forward. Finally we ended up in the section where we can grab our food and I looked at all of the lunches that they had up today and smiled at that. There was about three to four choices of what to eat. It was nice choices as well.

There was Philly steak and cheese, chicken nuggets with fries, a chicken salad and lastly spaghetti surprise. I was quick to settle on the Philly steak and cheese. And then I grabbed my strawberry milk just as Jessica grabbed the blood replacement bottle. "You. . . why do I feel like I remember you?" Jessica said. I ignored her. "You. . . your Embry's new fuck toy aren't you?" Jessica asked and I turned to her. "Girlfriend, I'm Embry's girlfriend." I said feeling her surge up once more prowling once more in anger and annoyance. She was prowling in anger.

"Oh his girlfriend isn't that sweet, does he tell you sweet things before he fucks you?" Jessica asked as I glanced at her. My mind went into a flight-or-fight mode and she; my wolf refused to take flight. "Yes he tells me very sweet things before we fuck each other." I responded feeling my wolf purr in excitement at me defending myself. "Oh does Desiree join as well, are you a little bisexual bitch?" Jessica asked. "Sorry, not my type, now leave me alone." I said holding my food as Michael came over. "What's the problem ladies?" He asked.

My wolf didn't like his presence one bit, she found him threatening. "Oh just conversing with Embry's new fuck toy." Jessica said and Michael smirked. "Get it through your bleached skull, I'm not his fuck toy I'm his girlfriend." I said and Michael glared. "Who do you think your talking to?" Jessica asked storming forward as Michael watched in amusement. And she quickly invaded my personal bubble as my wolf surged forth once more. Her eyes were getting ready to turn blood red with the way they darkened and how pissed she looked. Probably wasn't used to be talked back to.

"I advise you back up unless you want to go take a nice tan without that ring of necklace of yours." I told her staring at the sun stone on her. Desiree had a similar one. Jessica went still first as did Michael. "H-How---" "How did I know, well lets just say Embry and I are really close, and the next time you try to fuck with me, I'll let something out that isn't dying to come out, I try to keep her on a chain, but man does she hate you." It wasn't even me speaking anymore. It was purely my wolf.

And with that I went to go purchase my food. "Your a goddamn fledgling aren't you?" Jessica asked as Michael stood at her side. "Oh isn't that cute, you think I'm like you. Nice try, lets just say I'm new and improved then when I first came, and I can damn well promise you I'm better than you." I told her before turning to purchase my food. I could feel my wolf's pent up aggression from the close encounter we just had with Jessica and Michael as I gave the money to the cashier and walked towards Embry.
