Chapter 35

Recap: And then I met up with Patience and Serene at the check-out setting the dress and choker down. "And that's all." I told them with a smile. And Serene returned it. I felt confident in this, more confident than before, I knew this was the outfit. Dangerous Violet was out.

The weekend came quickly. I studied hard in college and aced an exam on the animal behavior and came closer and closer to completing Onyx's training. I had his adoption papers signed out by the weekend and Onyx was officially mine now.

Onyx was very pleased with the yard the girls had. I bought Onyx his own dog bed to sleep on in the room as I unpacked the room making it mine as much as I could. Serene was the cook of the house typically and I would admit it, I missed Embry's food. He came over with dinner for me once, grilled cheese and soup, some good stuff as well. After that Embry stained the bed with sex once the girls were asleep and I did my best to stay quiet. But Embry had other plans like usual. He wanted to hear me.

I was embarrassed the next day for sure. But the day of the party approached before it was on. We had no classes that day spending the day to the party. I was nervous. Embry hadn't seen the dress yet, but I did tell him he would like it. Embry would like anything, but what would he think of the new daring look I had. Would he like it or did he prefer my more shy self? Those questions tossed around in my head the entire day as I decided to get ready finally for the party after Patience told me to.

I got in the shower and scrubbed my body down of the smell of sweat and washed my hair to perfection until there was no oil or grease. This time I kept the soap scentless as my wolf preferred it over the scented ones. Once I was clean I let myself dry off before shaving my legs and a few other bits as well. And then I air dried until there wasn't a bit of moisture on my body. The day carried on as I walked around in a robe most of the day with my lingerie of course.

I selected purple lace specifically for Embry as I was going over to his place after tonight. It was a set he had bought for me. . . his favorite set as well with a keyhole in the middle. I knew he would like it which is why I picked it. Patience came in and did my hair. Mostly brushed it and made it a bit wavy before telling me I looked fine the way I was and to call her if I wanted make-up. But I never wore make-up and planned to keep it that way for as long as possible.

I preferred the natural look. Once it was eight I was in my dress and boots and put the choker on. Dangerous was what described the woman looking at me in the mirror. And it excited me. The choker was a cute design and played into my wolf in my opinion. If a wolf could roll their eyes it's what mine did. The full moon was tonight and she was lot more bitchier. And thought the choker was lame. She waited patiently in the background though. Patient for her turn to come out once the moon was high in the sky.

And I knew she'd alert me to the shift before I figured it out. Onyx got free reign of the house and we let him out to use the bathroom before giving him a fresh big bowl of water and food along with some toys. I rode with Desiree, Patience, and Serene. Like I had heard Desiree was big time flirting with Patience who brushed it off with a cold shoulder. However it didn't stop Desiree. Desiree wore a low dip red dress showing off her chest. And they all had their special sun jewelry as well as we sat in the car.

I felt anxious as Serene drove through town. The place we were going was out there, some abandoned warehouse on the downlow. And this party was directed towards vampires and no doubt the humans in on the secret if there was any. I was anxious as the scenery passed, the city fading into woods as I tapped my blunt nails on the door. The full moon had begun to rise in the sky and my wolf was alive now. She was there and made her presence known. But it wasn't her turn in the world quite yet.

I still had a few hours to be myself. When the warehouse pulled into view it was a relief as they parked at the front. I got out and straightened out the leather dress standing up to my full height as the girls followed. "The boys are inside waiting." Serene said looking at her phone and I followed them in. It was defiantly a vampire party as fangs were required to get into a certain side. I never felt so nervous before in my life. None of us had exactly said the word vampire to each other, or what I was.
