Chapter Six

"The house isn't that far away'

"Neither are the walkers out there. As soon as they hear Tony cry we're screwed"

She sassed back putting on her jacket Maggie gave her and placing Tony in the baby holder against her chest, "Do you know where Carl is? I wanted to say bye",

"No I don't actually, we need to hurry. I have some business to attend to" Rick told her picking up her bags as they made their way to the gate sliding open for them to pass through.

"Wait!"

Turning around there were the same kids who she hung out with the night before, running to catch up with them.

Walter, Jax, and Angel all caught up to them slightly out of breath, "What the hell (Y,n)? you didn't tell you were leaving" Angel said holding her arms out,

"Uh... Neither did I. Rick said it's just temporary guys, I'll see you around though" She said giving them all a small wave before grabbing the hand of her baby and walking with Rick outside the gate. 

It was a quiet walk, he took her into the woods just a few feet ahead of her. The only noises were Tony making weird sounds with his mouths and the silent rustle of the leaves touching each other as the wind blew past and through them all, 

"I never learned his name... Your baby" (Sorry if he does know his name)

"Oh. Anthony Glenn Rhee. Thought I'd honor my brother with something other than my memories" She told him feeling a little proud as Tony grabbed her finger and placed it in his mouth, at least it was keeping him quiet. 

"I know you guys don't really trust me but--"

"Don't" 

"I'm just trying to--"

"Well don't. I understand that you're Glenn's sister and what not but as far as we know you're still with the Saviors until we for sure you're staying in this house and I don't need some kind of speech about which side you are on"

"There shouldn't be any convincing Rick" She stopped him by grabbing his arm finally speaking up, she going to be heard one way or another. Once she gets to Rick everyone will have to respect her as their equal. 

"Carl is already calling me his family, if I was still with Negan do you really think that they wouldn't be here knocking down your gates and killing everyone. I know that he has killed your friends, family, fucking hell he killed some of my friends in the compound! 

It's not right to just assume shit, Rick, it isn't right. The world has ended and people need to stick together for once and stop killing, I want to help you all but I won't if looked down on as a fucking whore" Everything went quiet once again as Rick stared at her before dropping her bags and walking past only saying, 

"The cabin is just ahead".

Jesus(Paul)

Both Jesus and Carl sat in the back of the truck that belonged to the saviors as they drove down the road and they opened crates of supplies, mostly filled with guns and food, sabotaging them all.

As Carl did the other Jesus looked out of the truck paying attention to every landmark he could find. He then turns around and grabs a bottle of Maple syrup and poured outside of the truck leaving a trail for them to follow later, Carl looked at him confused, 

"Making a trail," Jesus told him. "I think we're close".

A couple of seconds later the truck turned and swerved around a few abandoned cars that sat still in the road, "We should bail out, follow the rest of the way, see what we can see," Jesus said.
