*Peter's POV*

She tasted like sugar. She was like a drug and I was addicted. It was amazing. Something out of a movie or a fairytale. It was sweet at first but then I wanted more. Her lips were soft and her skin was flawless. And the way she reacted. Her nails dug into the skin on my forearms and I could still see the marks. It made me crave her.

We were laying on my bed watching a Netflix series called Everything Sucks. I looked down at her. She was laying on my chest and was fast asleep as it's now 10:24 and we've been watching Netflix for a while. I turned off the TV with the remote and fell asleep with my arm wrapped around her.

I woke up to a scream. Sitting up quickly I turned to my left and Riley was panting and she looked scared. "What?!" I asked her. She looked at me and I saw her eyes trail down my body. She then groaned and laid back down with the blanket over her head.

"Riley?" I asked her as I moved the blanket away from her face. Her hands were covering her face and she was saying 'no' repeatedly. I moved her hands away. "Riley? What's wrong?" She looked on the verge of tears.

"Peter, what happened last night? Please tell me we didn't..." then she trailed off. My mind clicked to what she was talking about. "Riley! No, of course not. We were just watching a show. Remember?" I said frantically.

Her breathing slowed down. "Oh thank goodness." She said. I wiped the tears that fell down her face with my thumb. "You're fine. I would never do that to you without your consent." I told her. She nodded and hugged me tightly. "Wanna get breakfast?" I asked her. "Yeah. I'm hungry." She nodded.

We then got out of bed and went downstairs. I looked out the window and Hunter nor his car was here. "We can't go out because Hunter's car isn't here but I know how to make pancakes." I shrugged. She was looking out the sliding door to the backyard. "You guys have a pool!" She said excitedly. I nodded as a smile spread across her face. "Wanna go swimming?" I asked her. "Of course!" she bounced.

After we ate breakfast we went outside to the pool. "It's cold!" Riley said as she stepped in the water. "I would hope so. I mean it is a pool." I said as she tried to go deeper into the water.

"Stop being a wimp." I said. I then went over to her and picked her up. "What are you doing!" She screamed as I threw her into the deeper side of the pool. I then jumped in after her.

"Why?" she asked as she resurfaced and swam towards me. She then held onto my neck as she couldn't touch the bottom. "You're mean to me." she whined. I laughed as she let go and started to swim away. "C'mon. I'm the nicest person on the planet. You love me and you can't deny it." I said swimming after her.

"Yeah but you loved me first!" she said. "I find love an understatement." I said back. She then swam back towards me and snaked her arms around my neck. "So what do you want to do today?" She asked. "I honestly don't know." I shrugged.

"If Hunter gets back we can use the car and go to the movies with all our friends." She smiled. "I rather go with just you." I said. "No, we all haven't hung out together in like forever!" She sighed.

"Fine. Fine." I agreed. Then for the next few minutes we sat in a comfortable silence. She started tracing the perimeter of a bruise on my left shoulder. "Do they...hurt?" She asked quietly. "Not unless you add a lot of pressure. But other than that no." I said in the same tone.

"He shouldn't have done that to you." She said. She then placed a soft kiss on my cheek. I felt butterflies in my stomach. "I'll be fine." I assured her. I didn't like it when she was worried and I especially don't like it when she's worried about me. There was another silence that fell over us like a blanket.
